Had lunch today at Flava. My husband enjoyed arrabbiata with garlic bread.I however, had lentil soup which was disgusting with a terrible taste! From my experience, I would say it had burned to the pot. Both myself and my son could not eat it. Nobody asked if our meal was ok. Quite honestly I would say they are under staffed. No offence to the current staff team at all.I mentioned the soup was awful when paying and the waiter just apologised and continued to take payment for 2 meals which hadn't been touched. If I return I will be giving the soup a miss!!!
A little jewel in Gourock especially if you secure a seat overlooking the Clyde .Beautiful setting where you can enjoy a coffee with a nice selection of pastries as you watch the ferries ply their trade between Gourock and dunoon
If you're looking for a place to go for cocktails in Gourock then look no further than Flava! Enjoy a gorgeous mojito overlooking the beautiful views of Scottish highlands! Fantastic!
We had a late lunch here. It was lovely. Food was good, staff were friendly. Lovely views over the water
Delicious cocktails, beautiful views! Sit upstairs and watch the sunset....fantastic. The food and service were very good too.
We met up in Flava on a Friday night. Had a fabulous meal and some terrific cocktails!! The view is to die for, the staff are lovely and great value for money.
Nice cocktails, but food not great and the service has never been very good. Not the friendliest of places.
Huge carpark at the rear of the building. Short cut using steps from carpark to main street. The menu has a good range & quality of main meals, lighter snacks, as well as good coffee & cakes. There are 2 levels, but there are lovely views from both levels.
A great find. The food was varied and excellent. the menu catered for all tastes. The staff were attentive and helpful. We actually returned the following evening after a swim in the heated outdoor pool which is virtually next door.much so that I returned the following evening.
I've just walked out after waiting over 20 minutes for just a milkshake. The service was very slow and when I questioned where my drink was, after my friend had been served hers I was told they had run out of ice cream and it was being made......but it wasn't! After a further wait I decided to leave. if there was a problem I should have been told why I was waiting not just left sitting there. I have to say that I do like the coffee shop and do use it regularly but there is always something.....the service is too slow or they've not got something on the menu, the staff are distracted etc.
