Excellent day out! I have been on three separate occasions so far - with a friend (mid 20s), with a partner and then with my family that included 3 children age ranging between 3 years - 12 years. Each time, there has been plenty to see and do - if you get a lovely day weather wise, you're onto a winner! If it's a bit wet, there is a 'secret' indoor playarea - I had to laugh watching my parents play crazy golf! If you go at the right time of the year, there is the chance to see wee chicks and get a hold of them! The park has changed quite a bit since my first visit - expanding and improved facilities. I would recommend the onsite cafe - the food is delicious and tastes homemade. If you prefer though, there is plenty space for a picnic out in the Scottish Sunshine! Definately recommend, not too expensive and more enjoyable (for me) than the not so far away Safari Park. Comrie and Crieff and beautiful areas for exploring!
Took our foster child for a treat and what a treat it was! Fab food from the cafe, chicks to hold, sheep and goats to feed and meerkats to enjoy. Even the rain couldn't spoil the day. Worth every penny to see the little one so happy. A must for young families. Can't wait to go back.
Always an excellent choice for lunch in Comrie. A fine selection of home made soups, sandwiches, baguettes etc. and generous portions. Ideal for children too because of it's beautiful setting amongst the wild life. You can sit outside when the weather is nice and enjoy the views.Good value for money and a friendly welcome.
This is a great place to visit for families with kids however it is also a nice place for anyone who wants to get out in the countryside and have a nice lunch or just a cup of coffee. Great food at reasonable prices in the restaurant. Andrew Scott is a renowned chef and prepares all the food with the well trained and very polite staff.
It was an amazing experience. Went there with my bae, and the staff were amazing, especially the cafe girls. My girlfriend was able to access the whole facility even with her disabilities. The staff were so considerate and really friendly.
Nestled in some fantastic Scottish scenery is a great family day out. There was an interesting array of different animals including some lesser seen species such as the Coatimundi. They also offer a hands on experience with different animals which is always great for young kids. There are a couple of different play areas available to suit all ages either indoors or out. The staff were very friendly and more than happy to give you some interesting information on what ever you are having a look at. Cafe was also a great little spot that allowed you to have a bite to eat whilst looking out across the fantastic view. I can honestly say that the welcoming staff and friendly feel means I will definitely be returning in the future.
We visited this amazing wildlife park with our grandaughter, and have to say it was a brilliant day out, even though the weather was a bit inclement, wind and light rain. Despite this we roamed freely round the park, and was amazed by how many animals were still out and about, everything from a herd of deer to the most cute miniature pony you will ever see, otters to llamas, plus many many more.Plenty of outdoor things to do, and load of indoor things to keep the kids amused during the showers, there is mini golf, normally outside but moved indoors due to the weather, a soft play area and play barn. There is a well stocked shop and a reasonable cafe, and best of all nice clean and fresh toilet facilities.if your looking for somewhere to go to give the kids and adults alike, a great day out , then this must be it, take a picnic and spend the whole day, there really is that much to do.We will be returning, thats for sure, only we will make it a more sunny day so as to enjoy the spectacular countryside views as well, as all the activities.
We visited here yesterday in the crazy wind and pouring rain but had a great day. Lady on the desk in shop was really kind and the lady in the hatchery was great, let my 2 little girls hold lots of animals and was very knowledgable and patient! The lentil and veg soup in the cafe was amazing (I need the recipe!!) and despite the weather we all had a great time. Only downside I can think of is the road up to the centre is terribly potholed but go slow and manouvere around and you will be fine but could use resurfacing soon. We definately recommend it and we will be back, thanks for a great day :)
Had a great time here. Had animals, a bit where kids can pet newly born rabbits and chics, small soft play area and mini golf and large play area. Five of us went of different ages and they all had a ball. Definitely going back next summer great value for money
The fist thing you see is a group of albino walabys!Highland cattle, goats, sheep lamas, reindeer, peacocks, rabbits, ostrich, wild boar............ To name but a few of the amazing wildlife on view. Lots of play and picnic ares. We had a nice coffee and reasonably priced cake, after a pleasant walk round the nature trail. Definately worth a visit, especially for the kids. Educational and fun.
Visited for the first time with my husband, 1 and half year old son and my dog. Very pleased that dogs could be included in the visit to the wildlife centre. This is a large farm with plenty of animals and has two large barns with soft play and toys. There is a cafe and shop on site too. Pony rides are available as well as the petting area so that children can get up close to the animals. My son enjoyed this place and suits many different age groups. Kept him entertained for hours. Felt that the admission price was a bit much but would still return again. The kids sandwiches are the biggest I have ever seen. Great value for money! Great choice of food for lunch.Would recommend this place to other families to visit.
My children are 5 & 6 and we visited with my parents and had an absolute ball feeding the animals. The meerkats were fascinating too. The kids got to hold a baby chick, ride on toy tractors, play in the soft play bit and the playground is huge. Everything about the park is lovely and my dad (who is disabled) was able to get around the majority (one hill unsuitable) of the park in his electric wheelchair. The cafe provided home cooked fayre and the play area is fabulous and can be seen from the coffee shop so perfect for adults too. Worth the money and right on our doorstep so we will be going back very soon.
Our kids love it here and it's always the first place they ask to go. Great variety of things to do for all ages of kids.
A really lovely afternoon. The staff were all friendly and helpful, the goats and sheep were equally friendly and we got to feed the lemurs! The soup and baguettes were also delicious and the chef even came over himself to make sure we were happy. A really good day with plenty to see and do- we'll be back.
Went here with my wife and 4 kids, ages 2,5,6 and 13Kids had a cracking day out they all loved it and the weather was brilliantFair prices for adults and kids to get inMy daughters got to feed the lemurs which they loved,we also got some animal feed so they could feed tge other animals which they all enjoyedThey have pony rides at the weekends but on our visit we never seen it although their was a notice up at the reception with times etc, this costs extra, also a fishery if you pay into park it costs £10 for 2 hours with 1 fish, Any more fish costs £4 each, I thought this was a good deal and will try fishery on next visit!!
