Amazing wee falls hidden en route to The North once you have reached the end of Loch Lomond. There is a sign indicating the area but keep your eyes opened as it is easily missed. A breath taking attraction worth the visit even when you are short of time.
we visited the falls, on an evening, we had looked for it at the top of the loch but could not find it we drove on up and were just about to give up when we found the falls. it is worth seeing and it is only a short walk from the car park. a true natural beauty.
The plus side of going to see these falls after the equivalent of one months rain had fallen in the space of two days was that falls were in full flow. The view is very well framed by an interesting piece of sculpture/ architecture that sets the scene. The falls themselves are a wonderful torrent. Wouldn't have missed it for the world. Well worth getting soaked for.
It was nice, but we've seen waterfalls in several countries and seen more spectacular waterfalls. For this area it was interesting enough and could perhaps be even more spectacular if there would have been more water to surge through it.
A short, pretty, easy walk into the falls, these reminded us of those we see so often in Litchfield Northern Territory Aus. No swimmers and no threat of crocs though made us realise they were different! Hardly a destination for a day out, but a nice stop off for a few photos if you're driving right by.
Not to be missed, great location and great scenery. With a great real ale pub near by with good pub grub
The falls are really attractive. There are severals eating places offering various choices and prices. Also plenty of room to park and then walk around
We stopped by the falls on our way to Oban from Callander. The falls are very close to the cark park and you can reach them with a 10 mnt walk. Falls are not of great height or especially impressive but the ease of reaching them makes it a great place to make a quick stop on your way and enjoy the nature. Also a lovely place to make a picnic but beware of the midgies in the summer time.
We had heard of these and drove past the sign to turn off twice !! If it's any help they're not far from the Drovers Inn. Really beautiful falls, pathways to them are easy to walk on. Unfortunately horseflies everywhere so go with a spray. Lovely spot for a picnic or just a relaxing time I the sunshine
Came across these water-falls, located a few miles from Crianlarich, as we drove around Loch Lomond. Just a short, on the flat, walk to the falls & the rapids downstream.
These falls are worth going to see. Very easy walk and not far at all. There are lots higher or more spectacular but the ease of access makes these worth stopping off. Ir is easy to miss but about 1.5 miles passed the Drovers Inn you will see a brown sign it is easy to spot but you don't get any preceding it so there is the tendency to go whizzing passed.
The Falls of Falloch is a stop on our Loch Lomond Tour. We visited in May and all our guests were blown away and very pleased the got to witness the falls. The sun was shining too and the stones were glittering as a result. Be sure to look out for it after the Drovers Inn, it is the picnic stop on the right very soon afterwards. (The first brown sign) It is easily missed.
They are not well marked. Only sign I saw the one right at the falls so have to hit breaks and pull in. Easy walk to the falls and not far. Great vantage points.
We drove a fair way from Stirling to visit these Falls and Rob Roy's grave. Lovely drive and fab place. Perfect for a peaceful stop-off or picnic.
My friend & I saw the falls from the West Highland Way & came to the access from A82 for a better view. Well worth the time, such a tranquil, peaceful, beautiful spot.
