This is a lovely park. I used to walk through it nearly everyday to get to the university. On nice days, it was great for a stroll. The open areas are packed on sunny days in the summer. Worth a visit if you're already at the Kelvingrove Museum or the University of Glasgow.

I really like a good park. There's nothing better to end the day with than a quiet, relaxed stroll through some green. Thankfully, the city of Glasgow apparently shares my feelings with the presence of Kelvingrove. The park has a lovely duck pond, an area for flowers and a playground to give kids something to do other than annoy me. Certainly worth a visit if you're staying nearby and need some green scenery.

It is one of the most visited parks. Once you go as well, you can understand why... Grand, beautiful and well-maintained...

Absolutely gorgeous park its quite a big a long walk but its worth it, its very relaxing. Theres loads of space for kids or dogs etc to run about about. This is on a main road so there is loads of buses etc that run past it all the time.

The Kelvingrove Park is quite large and well laid out. There are good paths and the river Kelvin runs through the park. Plenty of space for children to run and play and for walkers to enjoy the area. There are a variety of water birds and small animals. The park contains a variety of trees, plants and shrubs as well as monuments and memorials. A great place to be on a hot summer day as I found when visiting the park. The Kelvingrove Museum and Art Gallery are situated within the park as well as some sporting facilities. Food outlets are nearby.

This park sits on the banks of the river Kelvin which meanders slowly to the Clyde. The park is ideally situated near the city centre and is served well by local eateries and carry out food shops making it an ideal picnic spot. The park is undergoing a big refurbishment the most notable being the Bandstand,a lovely little ampitheatre so check the parks website and you may be lucky enough to catch a performance by some of the various artists who perform there.Plenty of attractions for children, swings rounabouts, skateboarding and the duck pond.A fully operational restored fountain is a must see and Ive no doubt you will be tempted to throw in a coin and make a wish !Well worth a visit.

This park is full of idiots who could not give a damn about people there with young kids. They take over the park and your kids are not safe with these idiots jumping around with no regard for youngsters. They are also vey rude and generally unpleasant. Avoid this place if you can find another park closer to home.

Nice place for family picnic with lush green landscape. Nice play area for kids and fantastic place for a day. Good place during summers and spring for sun bathing and range of flowers to admire.

Whatever the time of year Kelvingrove Park offers the peace and tranquility twenty first century life demands. From Philipino music to an amazing vivid red winter sunset, from an ice cream on a hot summers day to snow sculptures - there's never a bad day to visit Kelvingrove Park.
