We were very busy on the Saturday you stopped by as we were running a very popular event to celebrate the RSPB Big Garden Birdwatch and it was also the first day of our 2 for £10 all-day breakfast promotion, so the staff were definitely kept on their toes! We do try to clear the tables as quickly as possible so we're sorry to hear you felt they weren't tidied quickly enough. We do try to promote a relaxing and leisurely atmosphere and perhaps if you come again you will have a different experience.

We were delighted to host your Grandson's Christening, which must have been a very special occasion for the family. Thank you for your feedback on our Christmas Craft Fayre. This was the first time we had run an event of this nature and we were pleased to have a good turnout.We had a range of stallholders selling a variety of craft items, which included homemade chocolates, local honey and wax gifts, beautiful photography, locally made cakes, felted animals, jewellery, produce made by our chefs here at the Mill, and other local crafts.We also had a busy weekend in our Mill Store that sells gifts, cards, local wines, ingredients and lots of other items throughout the year.All in all the Fayre raised over £250 for the Charity and kick started our Christmas activities here at the Mill.

We make all of the food we serve in the Cafe fresh on the premises, and we also source many of our ingredients locally and whilst this may impact the price on occasions, we do strive to offer high-quality food at good value.
