First visit to the venue. Most disappointed to discover that you have to pay for adults to sit and watch my children play! The cost is already high in comparison to other similar attractions and they do not have a slide! Kill a bit of time!
Visted jungle jim's during xmas holidays today. Done a great job of keeping young kids busy in soft play area and the elf's keeping young kids off all ages dancing too the music. Great place too go if you want to wear the kids out while you chill.
Tired - running on empty - kids running on full. Try out Jungle Jims - Kids eat so cheap excellent soft play and free wifi. buy a sugary hot chocolate and catch on you social media while the kids wear themselves out - stay for lunch at a snip and get home in time for tea and medals - well done dad!
Jungle Jims is located within Sandy's industrial area. Parking can at times be difficult due to industrial traffic and you do need to keep a hold of little ones as there are lorries etc also accessing the estate. The facility itself is not particularly large, but is relative to the size of Sandy. It has a toddler area which I have to say is one of the best I have seen in such a facility. It is more than the obligatory ball pool and a couple of foam animals. There is actually a multi level element to it and many other things to entertain the little ones. The main play frame is not massive and is only on two levels, but it is well laid out and as a parent you can sit an enjoy a coffee and can still see your children wherever they are in the frame. The facility itself is only a couple of years old and all of the equipment and the building itself is absolutely meticulously maintained and utterly spotlessly clean actually probably the best facility I have seen for this. Uniquely for this type of facility they actually have enough staff and children are well supervised. The staff are all very good with the children and are very friendly and pleasant. The coffee and the food on offer are very good it has a good menu there are good food choices for children and as an adult you can have a bit of breakfast here or enjoy a bit of lunch. As a parent you can relax here whilst the children have fun.It is reasonably priced as is the food and is good value. Where this place really scores is it's party packages and it's dedicated party room. We have had two children's parties there and they have all been fantastic and would still have been good value at double the price. If there is a done side to this facility and it is minor is they could do with a few more toilets and it can get very busy. However all in all in my opinion it is one of the very best softplay facilities I have ever taken the kids to.
My daughter and I had a lovely time here today. The staff were friendly and helpful. My daughter enjoyed riding the little red tikes car around, watching the Christmas tree and display going up. She loved the musical hands display and the music/songs that played.
Took my 9 year old grandson and he had a whale of a time - where do they get the energy? A great place for kids of all ages from toddlers to lively bigger ones to let off steam.Everything was clean (especially toilets), reasonably priced food and entrance fee, well worth the visit.
I am a childminder and regularly take 3 girls to Jungle Jim's - They love it. Lots of physical play, morning songs with actions, craft/art sessions and they can meet cartoon animals such as Peppa Pig. The food is excellent with a decent choice at a good price. The great thing for me is that I can see the children all the time and I know they are safe. Also everywhere is continually cleaned. We love going there. Jan Bartram
Went to jungle Jim's today and my son loved it. It was very clean and not busy at all which was nice. There's plenty of parking and lots for the kids to do from babies up to the bigger kids. We also got to meet peppa pig too which was a bonus. I should imagine during school holidays and weekends it gets busy but for little ones that aren't at school yet it's great during the week. It wasn't too big that you lose your kids like some places but there was still plenty to do.
I have visited this place three times now with my daughter and grandson. It is situated in a drab industrial estate and first impressions could be deceptive.I doesn't publicise itself much, probably because it doesn't need to. On each occasion we have been there it has been spotlessly clean and both we and my Grandson have enjoyed it. They could not have paid more attention to safety and there are segregated areas for smaller children, though any child can roam anywhere outside those areas. Private parties seem to be held often and no child could possibly be bored here. We have witnessed TWO visits from Peppa Pig!Catering is good; the staff are friendly and caring. It is at it's busiest during achool holidays with older children there as wellat those times. If you have a smaller child s/he naturally needs some watching at least in the unsegregated areas. This is however no more than any parent would expect to do for their children. Larger children sometimes don't know their own strength and can unintentionally knock smaller ones. That's life!Very well run and regulated and the source of much happiness for all!
My visit to jungle JIms and not my last, took my two grandchildren who had a lovely time.Staff were really nice, great coffee and food.Lots of things to do and very much enjoyed Leo'sdancing, along with our visit to see Peppa Pig could not have been better.Toilets catering for the children a bonus too with low level toilets and handbasins brilliant idea. Will be returning soon.
We had visited before in the 'term time' and it was OK, but in the school holidays - 'forget it', children running riot, dirty, noisy, what more can I say... go elsewhere, there are many more far superior soft play centres in the area for example Bury Lane, Royston!
We have visited this soft play many many times and have never been disappointed. It is planned well so that you can always see your children playing. The food is reasonable and cakes and coffee are lovely. The staff are fantastic I like fact the interact with the children not only to run great activities, circus skills being a particular favourite but also sorting out any issues the children may have in the play equipment. We've also had 3 parties here including the disco and the sports party and they have been extremely well organised and the children all had a great time.
My children love coming to play at JungleJim's. Just what we needed somewhere safe to play while mums dads and carers can enjoy a nice meal and coffee. The staff are really great and make the whole experience a pleasure. Happy kids=happy mums
Great place for children and parents alike. Very clean, great food and lovely staff!Would definitely recommend!
I have visited many playcentres with my 5 year old and I must say this is the best we have ever been too. The staff are friendly, helpful and the food is yummy. They sell very good hot chocolates and we love when the Lion comes down for a dance with the children. Overall this is a great place to take the children.
