It was very busy, queues at all the counters and hard to find a table even though it was only 12.30pm. Probably a bit quieter during the week! Food tasty and 'home made'! Wonderful roast tomatoes and red pepper soup!

Fantastic café and shop for those who are not inclined towards gardens, good exhibition about the history of the garden. Interesting floral/shrub/leaves changes through the seasons, lovely ponds and sometimes sculpture exhibitions. The building architecture is out of this world.

We took advantage of the free entry until the end of February and went in the last few days. It was stunning! The weather was gorgeous and although we thought the gardens would be at their drabbest, the colours were stunning. It was a bit muddy due to all the recent rain, but you could keep off the muddy bits if you wanted to. I've previously been put off by needing to pay for both parking and entrance as it can be an expensive day out, especially at weekends. Weekdays some of the parking time is free. However the gardens are stunning. It is well worth it. Taking advantage of the free entrance gave me the opportunity to see that. Will definitely be going back again later in the year.

Great visit, landscape is beautiful, would recommend wellies as it could be muddy depending on the weather...Nice café where you can enjoy the view of the gardens.Take the opportunity to visit Virginia Water you can access it from there, it is 10 min walk only and worth a visit.

This is so nice to walk around watching nature takes it course season by season changes. Today spotted snow drops crocuses and the first buds of the rhodendremons !I still find the restaurant pricy and I dislike my drinks in horrid paper cups !!!

Enjoyed our visit very much - free entry to the end of February. The gardens are beautiful, even in winter, and in some sheltered areas the camellias were in full bloom. The dogwoods were wonderfully bright, the spring bulbs were in flower plus the wonderful perfumes of the winter flowering shrubs. Rather muddy in places though so do wear sensible shoes/boots.The food was good and the plant sales area was well organised - we thought prices were quite reasonable. All in all a very interesting afternoon.

Definitely worth a stroll thru the wonderful gardens, Spring will bring some unbelievable colours that you never would believe could come together and of couse the parking is good and the cream tea, well deserved afterwards!

Kids will love the space and can explore, while y7ou can smell the roses , or explore the herb garden or whatever your favourite plant is. Close to Virginia Water and its grounds. Good restaurant here and a superb pub very close too.Place can get muddy in places after the rains so beware.

Beautiful gardens, even in winter. We decided to visit as we were looking for a nice walk and learnt that the place was open to the public for free until the end of February. What a great thing to keep them open in winter as after visiting once we will certainly go back there again in the summer! The views were stunning and the gardens made it for a very pleasant and relaxing walk. We would definitely recommend it!Nice cup of coffee and a slice for cake made the afternoon complete.

Savill Garden beautiful all year round. I visited only a few days ago - February - and the Winter Garden is a splendid splash of colours that one really doesn't expect. It's an easy accessible garden in terms of being able to walk and see it all in comfort - set out in sections - to celebrate the seasons it is a very interesting and unusual place to visit. The Main building which houses the Reception, Shop, Cafe etc. is well laid out, excellent restaurant and coffee bar. Car Park and Coach Park are very close to the entrance. Anyone visiting the Windsor Area - and especially in June when the Magna Carta Celebrations are scheduled - should include Savill Garden in their itinerary (it is about 10 mins drive from Runnymede),

the gardens here always have something to look at but in May. It is amazing with the azaleas in full bloom, simply spectacular. Also added to this, the restaurant is fantastic, with a great choice of cakes and beverages. The gardeners tea in particular is my favourite. The gardens are also open free during January and February, bargain!

we called here yesterday on the way home as it was a sunny day.It is free entry to the garden during Dec, Jan and Feb but you will need to pay to park you car if you visit at the weekends. There is a nice café and shop and I would recommend a visit if you live in the area especially while its free. Obviously there is not much in flower at the moment but it is a nice 60-90 minute walk around the garden. Also you can walk further in Windsor park if you want to we last visited in May and the flowers and shrubs then are super.
