Won 2 tickets in a Facebook competition! Was a lot harder physically than I expected but a lot of fun, gets the adrenaline flowing too! Instructors were friendly and made me feel safe, safety was paramount. Would definitely recommend and hope to return soon!
We had an amazing time at Beamish Wild High Ropes Course. The staff were extremely friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. They provided great advice and encouragement throughout and made it an enjoyable experience for a mixed ability group. Went above and beyond usual service, offering to take photos etc for group during activities. Would recommend this day out to anyone visiting the North East and looking for an outdoor activity. (Very safe and quality equipment). Thanks to Alex and Greg for a great day!
Booked this for my 11@ 14 yr old daughters. They were nervous but got the whole way round thanks to amazing staff. Wrap up if watching as it's cold but definitely worth it. Almost wish I could have done it too.
Booked this a prize for my winning Scouts. Took 5 girls and 3 adults and although not cheap we had a cracking if somewhat cold day. The initial reception from the team was polite and informative, very good advice given when putting on and adjusting harnesses followed by a comprehensive walk through on the lower rope course. After that we were let loose to follow the course around and the kids had great fun all the way round ending up with a 'leap of faith' on the fan descender!!!!!!!A cracking experience with very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly staff - thanks guys.
I took a group of 17/18 year olds for a birthday treat and they loved it staff were really good fun they really helped make the day special . cost wise i got it on a groupon deal so great value for money , great little adventure play groud to keep little ones entertained while the big ones climb to, although recommend either booking a table if you want to eat at the stables or taking a pack up to eat while you wait for your group to climb
staff really good and the high ropes were challenging but do able. Thought it was expensive at £70 for 2 adults and 1 child for just less than 2 hours.
My daughter was desperate to do this. I'd done it overseas and thought it was a good way to see her challenge herself. It's a decent course and instructors keen. As an adult I wanted a bit more technical climbs and crossings but in general it's good. Other things to do and well worth a try. If you're looking for high adrenalin maybe you'd need a harder course but I'd say it's suited really well for kids wanting to push themselves.
We attended Bemish wild for a team building event the time we spent there was great fun the staff are great and a pleasure to spend the day with. We did problem solving orienteering and various other team activities
Wonderful adventure for children over 11 and not as expensive as others.Staff friendly, very safety conscious. Kids loved it .Situated next to Beamish Hal Hotel and Stables bar so adults can relax with a coffee or drink while the kids do their stuff.Best park in hotel car park as Beamish Wild car park is a bit of rough gravel with pot holes
Myself and eight other work friend had a great day out at beamish go wild high ropes. We all had a good laugh and hoping to do it again,Heath & safety was top notch the briefing was second to noneRegardMr A Bell.
I went with my 2 teenagers and my husband for a holiday treat. This is the second time we have been and we all loved it. It seems very safe for all but thrilling just the same. Staff are very friendly and helpful.
Took my boys and their dad for some quality guys time.... They really enjoyed the tree climbing... They all said they would love to come again.... They finished the course quite quickly and wished they could have gone round a second time.
This was a 30th birthday present for my son, my younger son and husband joined in too.I was a little concerned when I saw children in the group in case the course wasn't challenging enough for my active family! However, they have cleverly made the course fun and challenging for anyone over 10, regardless of how active they are.My hubby and two sons had a great time and would recommend it to anyone!
We are parents in early 50's so were apprehensive about strenuous exercise. I failed by wearing crocs. I managed ok but you really need trainers or walking shoes for grip/balance.The guys that taught us the ropes (sorry) were professional, helpful and friendly. Our two kids 10&11 loved it though the younger one got the colly wobbles half way round and the guys brought her down without any fuss. Us two oldies were initially quite anxious about being up there but loved it. It was great exercise and a challenge. Our 11 year old loved it too.We had one of the best family day out ever. There is also a gorgeous pub where you can have lunch/ drink in the civilised courtyard.5 stars, no doubt. Good value for money too.
Went to Beamish wild as a birthday treat for 11 year old, 4 of us took part ages ranging from 11 to 52. Staff were excellent and friendly and climbed up to help 11 year old on few occasions when he got stuck and were very encouraging. Took a little over two hours to complete well worth the price. Great family day out as everyone enjoyed including granny who took the photo's.
