I have been going to Pets Corner since I was a child. It offers a chance for people of all ages to see animals (typically found on a farm and aquatics) for free. Please note that they do request donations as this helps keep the centre open. The centre also offers educational talks to small groups of school children.

Recently I discovered a lovely little farm in Harlow town great for young kids especially in the spring when all the baby animals arrive it's completely free but think they deserve any donations,as it's all volunteer work,a wide variety of animals ranging from the normal farmyard animals to owls and Lammas, take a little picnic great to keep the kids busy for a few hours in the holidays x

A great place for children to visit. Lots of animals and its free, what more could you want! We regularly go and would recommend it to those who like animals.

Where else can you find free entertainment? It took a little while to find from the school lane car park, but once we were there we spent a pleasant hour wandering round looking at the animals. Don't forget a 20p coin for the feed machine.

Grown up around this place, amazing place for children, small selection of animals. FREE entry and can even feed some of the animals. Shame the birds of prey have gone :( no idea why?....Took my nephew here and he loved it.

Pets corner is a free to enter (you can make a contribution via the steel pig) menagerie of ponies, horses, reindeer, al pacas, llamas, sheep, pigs, cows at certain times of year, goats, small rodents, lizards, birds of prey, chickens, ducks and other exotic birds. I've probably missed something but that is the point. The majority of animals live in an enclosure whilst a number of the larger animals are rotated in the large field outside.Children can wonder around mingling with the animals. The relaxed environment makes for an enjoyable experience. At the weekend there is also a small shop run by volunteers where they have a selection of well priced kids stuff and bags of food at 50 p a bag which is great value and the animals seem more than happy to keep on eating! It goes without saying that if I ask my daughter what she would like to do and it's not raining that we will be heading there. There is no greater recommendation than that and I won't bother trying. The volunteers are fantastic and along with the council deserves praise for contributing to its ongoing success. To top it off there is a massive field and wooded area as well as a great play ground all within easy reach. If you get pecking there is a cafe next door and other commercial outlets relatively close by.It's a no brainier if you have kids and live nearby. You must come to Pets corner. You will become a regular user though.

Pets corner is in Harlow town park and is worth a visit. Children can feed the animals with bought bags of food and stroke some of the animals. Chickens and ducks running round and there is a small aquarium at one end, and a small gift shop. Excellent hand washing facilities after touching all the animals, also nearr to toilets. Well worth a visit (free entry) and also animals in nearby fields. Just by the station, or park by the Greyhound pub.

What a lovely time my family and I had at Pets corner. We go quite regularly as my wife is a child minder and the young children love to see all the different animals as well as Graham who's been there since I was a child! The school I work at recently looked after some baby chickens from pets corner and it was great to see them there although now a little bigger!

I am sorry that you did not enjoy your trip to Pets Corner on this occasion. The day you visited we had a large group of young people volunteering as part of a community day. I don't know if you may be referring to this group but we try to engage many people of all abilities to help and promote a good understanding and education in animal welfare particulaly young people. This is a very positive role in our involvement with the community and wellbeing of people. The group was very well supervised so suprised to think it could be them. Certain tasks were left for the group which may explain a couple of the smaller animal pens awaiting cleaning We do have many other groups of people who are visiting. Our Reindeer are in moult at the moment as are some of the animals and do not always appear their best during this time. Particulaly the reindeer. The staff work to a very high standard and follow animal management plans so our animals welfare are checked fairly regulaly throughout the day. All animals are given fresh water in the morning then topped up throughout the day. Its a shame you never brought this to a member of staffs attention.I am sorry that your first review had to be a terrible one especially after visiting Pets Corner on many occasions. I have noted your concerns and will investigate to ensure all visitors enjoy their visit to Pets Corner.

Pet's Corner is as much a part of Harlow's identity as the Eiffel Tower is of Paris. Parents have been bringing their children to this large and delightful menagerie for more than 40 years. There are large, lumbering pigs and skeetering ducks and geese. There are horses and ponies and exotic fish and lambs and goats. There are reindeer, llamas and alpacas and all the little characters inhabit outdoor paddocks as well as beautifully maintained inside arenas and many just wander about at varying speeds from the stately strides of the peacocks to the accelerated bursts of speed of the Indian Runners. Young or old, it's always a heartwarming pleasure that never palls to visit this timeless attraction.

On 23rd May 2014 we had a visit booked at Pets Corner. When we arrived we was greeted by a very friendly lady who took us into the classroom and had a quick chat with the children. We had a tour around Pets Corner where the children had the opportunity to ask lots of questions and were told lots of interesting facts. After we went back to the classroom where the children got to touch some of the smaller animals, again lots of interesting facts were told to the children. The children did not want to leave. It was a fantastic morning out and we will definitely be going back.Thank you so much to all who work at Pets Corner.

Briiliant, nothing much has changed over the years there and why should it ? Animals seem happy enough and staff always friendly to answer any questions

Its always a great pleasure to pop into Pets Corner. The name is so misleading, There are sheep, horses, wild fowl, llamas and various small animals and even a Turkey that was apparently left there one Christmas by someone with a conscience. There are chances for the children to get up close to the various animals kept here. The staff are so obviously dedicated to the care of the various animals. If you need an excuse to introduce the children to animals, visit Pets Corner Justin and his staff will always be pleased to welcome you. Well done Pets Corner.
