On a very cold day, only been here one hour, my two year old decided to sit in a puddle of water in the play area, now soaked and the rest of our day could of been spoiled. A lovely young lady named Ellie-Jo who works in the play area, kindly run around to help us and kindly found my son a lovely clean pair of socks, her attitude and her very helpfulness made our day, thanks again Ellie nice to go for a day out with staff like you x

It is currently a colouring activity, apologies that you missed taking part in it, it is a self guided activity. We look forward to seeing you on the farm again soon.

Thank you for taking the time to review Marsh Farm and your visit last year in August 2014, we appreciate all feedback as this is how we can constantly improve our services. As you may not be aware we are no longer owned by Essex County Council and are now part of the Partyman Company Ltd. Marsh Farm itself has not been a working farm in excess of 6 years now. We have more animals onsite now that when owned by ECC, including the alpacas, Llamas, sheep, pigs, cows, chickens, geese, ducks, ponies, donkeys, goats and all the cute furry animals in the pet barn, rabbits, guinea pigs, gerbils, rats, ferrets and array of birds. We are really proud of our team and the work they have put in to the site over the past two years and what they have managed to achieve. From you review your trip was in August 2014 so would have been one of our fun summer holiday days out here at the farm, I am so sorry we did not meet your expectations on your visit. All visitors were given one of our 'Little Magic Books' , 16 pages of fun and information, including the itinerary of activities, which change every 30 minutes, from pony grooming to milking demonstration and goat racing, Championsheeps LIVE and Shaun the Sheep meet and greets. Our admission includes all the fun activities, with the exception of retail and food purchases. Since taking over we have also increased the play areas from Mini Tractor Town and Bouncy Pillows to large indoor play structure. All this fun we believe makes for a really good value and full day out for all the family. I would happily discuss any ideas you have that we could improve our services and activities here on the farm. Please feel free to email me at sam.tyler@partyman.co.uk.
Thank you for taking the time to review Marsh Farm Animal Adventure Park, we are sorry we did not meet your expectations. We believe our venue offers great value for money as a family day out. We have a full itinerary of activities at the farm, with something new to do every 30 minutes. The activities include meet a goat, pony grooming, Kune Kune pig feed, pet encounters and tractor & trailers rides. Also Fit with the flock and magic shows daily at the weekends and school holidays. Plus the indoor and outdoor play facilities. The only attraction we have regrettable has to close in the short term due to the ground conditions is the Maze. I can only apologise if you missed out participating in these activities. We love our extended animal family here on the farm and take pride in their care, thank you for the comments, they will be shared with the livestock team. Please contact me directly on sam.tyler@partyman.co.uk if you wish to discuss your visit further.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review regarding last years Christmas Event at Marsh Farm. We appreciate all feedback and have shared it with the team. We can see from a previous 5 star review from yourself that you family had a great day out here at the farm in the summer and I can only apologise if we did not meet you expectations on this occasion. We are very proud of the team and the Father Christmas Event we delivered.I appreciate your comment in regards to the feedback we have received for this event, but it is a true statement that we were overwhelmed by the positive feedback. It is regrettable that you did not make the team aware of your experience and feedback on the day of your visit. We hope to see you and your family on the farm again.
Thank you so much for your fabulous review of our recent Pirates Week event and Breakfast. I have shared your comments with the team and we are so proud of them, and your reference to Disney was greatly appreciated. The whole team has worked so hard to deliver an outstanding event and the Pirates that joined us were amazing too.We hope to see you on the farm again soon!

Thank you for taking the time to review Marsh Farm Animal Adventure Park. We are so excited as spring is fast approaching, we have piglet and lambs already and cannot wait for the pitter patter of tiny cloven hooves from our Herdwick ewes in the coming weeks! We look forward to seeing you and your family on the farm again soon.
Thank you for taking the time to review Marsh Farm Animal Adventure Park and your recent visit, we appreciate all feedback from our customers. Thank you for the comments regarding the standards of care and cleanliness of the farm, we are very proud of our team.Marsh Farm has not been a working farm in excess of 5 years and has not been marketed at as that since Partyman Company took over in 2013.It is a sad reality that unless you intensively farm there is no profit to be made in farming. We have found having animal interactions throughout the day has a greater educational and fun factor. We have assortment of animal related activities from Meet the Goat to Pony Grooming available everyday on the farm. We have lots more to come here at Marsh Farm but the main infrastructure elements had to be put in place first, including the play barn and restaurant which can now accommodate 200 persons for catering needs. Marsh Farm is now a full day out with all the new additions and play equipement is an element that visitors now expect at all visitor attractions. We now have more animals on site than when Marsh farm was owned by Essex County Council! including in our pet barn, the layout of the pet barn has altered in the last few years. The site is approx 30 acres now which has implications on the size of our herds, we have access to additional grazing but the 200+ acreage of the country park is still run by the council. We hope to see you on the farm again soon.I used to take my son to Marsh Farm when he was younger, so when they had a special 'superhero ' weekend recently, I suggested to a friend that we go and take her 4 year old son. He had a great time but only wanted to go in the play barn where there is a large soft play area. Marsh Farm used to have lots of farming activities and crafts to see and do. Now there are far fewer animals (the pigs have gone as have most of the sheep and a lot of the pets in the pet barn) and I don't agree that it should advertise itself as a working farm any more. There is more play equipment than farming equipment and less displays and talks than there used to be. Having said that, the animals that are there are in fabulous condition and are well housed and clearly happy. The farm is well kept and is clean and tidy. Visit with small children but don't expect too much farming to be going on!
Thank you for taking the time to review Marsh Farm. We are very proud of what we have achieved so far and have lots more to come!Yes we agree and recommend always dressing appropriately for the weather, we are on marshland so it gets wet underfoot, so in the colder months wrap up and put your wellington boots on. (If any chance you could amend your typo that would be great! Thanks)We look forward to seeing you on the farm again soon.
Thank you for taking the time to review Marsh Farm Animal Adventure Park we love hearing about the fun families have here on the farm. Look forward to seeing you on the farm again soon!
Thank you for writing a review, it would be great to discuss your comments further, please feel free to contact me directly on 01245 312552 or sam.tyler@partyman.co.uk. From your short review it is clear you did not enjoy your visit, which is regrettable. We pride ourselves on amazing customer service, as stated by many other reviews and hence our high Trip Advisor rating. I can only apologise if we did not meet your expectations on this occasion.I can assure you all our animals are kept to a very high standard of care. We are in the winter months and the fields are muddy compared with the summer months. All our facilities are directly aimed at families from our extensive indoor and outdoor play equipment to the pen design to allow children greater viewing. We run tractor and Trailer rides daily, with animal interactions on offer throughout the day from Meet the Goats to Pony Grooming. Regards Sam Tyler
