Set in the lovely town of Lynton this cinema is one of a kind. From its small capacity, just 68 seats, to being shown to your seat by the staff, the welcome is warm and friendly. Good restaurants close by, and free parking, what's not to like? The films are the latest releases, just a couple of weeks later than the multiplex chains. Would recommend booking as its always been busy when we have been.
This cinema is a real treat if you enjoy reminiscing. Shows modern day films in a classic old time cinema. I would think that booking is advisable to guarantee a seat as it's not that big. We thoroughly enjoyed it, from the moment we walked in, to the time we walked out. It was like walking back in time. Saturday morning pictures all over again. What a little gem. As Arnold Schwarzenegger said "I'LL BE BACK"
This is the place to go to if you want to see your favourite film in a relaxing atmosphere. Being small you can actually feel you are in your own home watching the film. Great value for money and plenty of good restaurants and inns near by.Free parking also and bootable seats are a added attraction.
We visited this cinema whilst in the area with a group of friends. What a lovely way to watch a film. The cinema offers the personal touch that is missing from today's multiplexes. The staff were welcoming and friendly. The audio and picture quality were very good and the seats comfortable. Wished more towns had a real gem like this.
Travel back in time, be shown to your seat and feel the experience of watching a film with 66 others.
Very friendly with good prices right in the centre of Lynton. Films up to date. Good atmosphere and very welcoming.
What a wonderful experience to visit this cinema.Such a beautiful building and friendly and helpful usher. No profit made just dedication.Well done.
Bijou treasure in Lynton. Only around 60 seats so call ahead to book. Good selection of recent releases.
Nicer than going to usual type of cinema. Very quaint yet comfortable, good sound and picture quality. Only £5 a ticket and fits in perfectly with the character of Lynton.
Tucked away behind Lyn Arts & Crafts Centre next to the Bavarian looking Town Hall, Lynton Cinema is a nice traditional little cinema that brought back the memories of what cinema going used to be like.Excellent sound system, lots of leg room and a good film made for an excellent evening's entertainment. Well worth a visit!
Comfortable seating with a clear view of the screen made our evening very enjoyable. The sound quality was good, also.
good for evenings and afternoon movies. maybe next year will visit as well- we will see. after some pizza ;)
Last night we found ourselves the only people to turn up for the showing but they still went ahead with the performance. All the staff are volunteers and I think they are great, thank you so much.Lynton cinema is a treat with on 70 seats and is worth a visit just for the experience.
Unique little cinema , like traveling back in time. Warm welcome and comfortable showing current films, a must see.
