Myself, my partner and daughter, along with our friends and God-daughter visited Mini Meadows during the February half term. We had loads of fun. We purchased a bucket of food, which was all separated in to different colour cups, which designated the animals it was meant for.The kids loved all the different animals. They especially loved the ride on tractors in the barn...as did my best mate. If the weather had been warmer, this place would be amazing. We'll be back during the summer.
Went here for first time yesterday my daughter loved it won't stop talking about it. There are number farm in the area but the range animals and value for money was fantastic. The food pots make this really for for children
This is a great place for a day out with the family - the kids will love feeding the animals, playing in the sandpit and in the playground, riding the tractors, cuddling the guinea pigs, etc etc etc. It's a beautiful countryside setting, and the staff are so friendly and knowledgable about the animals. You can buy a tub of animal feed for next to nothing, all colour codes so that the kids know which animals eat which food. Our favourites are the tiny pony and the cool ostrichy things (rheas perhaps?) but there are loads of amazing funky chickens, some massive rabbits, cows, pigs, goats, alpacas, chinchillas (I think), all sorts. It's such a good value day out for the family - so many places charge so much, but you really could go here every weekend at the price they charge. Highly recommend it.
Love this farm! We have been visiting Mini Meadows for the past year and cant get enough. It is excellent value for money with lovely animals who all look so happy and healthy. Staff are always welcoming and very chatty. We visited last week and yes it has become muddy since our last visit but hey it is a farm at the end of the day so its expected! Excited for our next visit!
We absolutely love Mini Meadows Farm and come at least once a month. Bad weather doesn't stop and we aka ways have a great time. I love the fact that they allow you to feed the animals, have a great play area and allow picnics. Brilliant value for money too!
We have visited Mini a Meadows regularly over the padt couple of years with our son. The farm is ever growing and adapting and it's great to see the projects around the farm! The staff are always cheerful and friendly, and helpful when we want to feed/hold the animals or ask questions. Will ALWAYS recommend!!
This place is amazing, my kids absolutely love it. Staff there are a great help, can't do enough. If you want to go somewhere and not spend a great deal of money then this is it. I guarantee you will enjoy it!
Visited lots of times through the summer, and loved this place. Visited in the winter and not quite so in love. The tractor circuit was closed with no prior warning for a party (we'd already told some excited children it was there), and the central path was really really muddy, to the extent it was pretty hazardous, especially to the grandparents that were there. Fortunately we have a yearly pass, otherwise i would've felt it was a disappointing day.
Just the best day out, children loved it, friendly owners who involve the children with the animals and great value for money
Best selection of animals and play in Northants, beautiful surroundings and colour-coded animal food for extra entertainment... And all at a fantastic price. Can't ask for more!
Great value for money and fun visit. In fact I would suggest the best value for money experienced in Northants
what a wonderful little place. Outdoor animals, indoor play, spotlessly clean and fair prices. We only found this today but will be back - many, many times. Thank you to the management. Value for money, a rare treat in today's times.
This od one of my go to places for chicken stuff. Ben and everyone there is alwaus very helpful and supportive. Its great to see them expanding into other things now. Go its grest for the kids.
We came to Mini Meadows, as adults without young children, primarily for the chicken keeping course, but have to say we enjoyed a wander around the nicely laid out and well stocked children's farm afterwards. Well priced for families and with plenty to see and do (and more on the way), it has a tea/coffee making area and a limited range of snacks. Knowing this in advance, we brought a packed lunch with us as there are picnic tables available, but we understand there is also a cafe in the pipeline for next summer. As well as plenty of hand sanitising stations around the farm, there are basic toilet facilities and an outdoor hand washing area is in progress. There's a good range of child-friendly animals and all appear happy and healthy. Ben, who presented our chicken keeping course, was friendly, enthusiastic and knowledgeable and was able to advise us in the shop, which stocks a range of chicken equipment, feed and sundries. They also offer an installation service if you would like more help in setting up to keep chickens yourself and have a variety of poultry to choose from.
Exactly what a children's farm should be!This is a lovely little petting farm, a nice selection of animals that are really easy to see and interact with. The owner is very friendly and couldn't be more helpful. We were at a birthday party and it worked perfectly - all the children get a bucket with 3 coloured cups of animal feed and a little guide on who should (!) get what. The children (5 year olds) had a ball! I think the entrance cost is also very low. It also sells small animals and supplies, namely chickens (layers and rare breeds) and the owner is a wealth of knowledge if you fancy becoming a chicken owner.Thank you!
