village of edith weston

I visited this village mainly because I wanted to see the church which is of some interest although not outstanding. The rest of the village is typically affluent with attractive cottages etc. To the north of the village is Rutland Water, but to the south is a large military base which does detract a little from the village's charm

C'est un de mes villages préféré d'Angleterre. Maisons typiques, lac non loin. Eglise tout au bord du lac. Ideal pour les amoureux de la nature et pour ceux qui recherchent le calme. Bref, un endroit superbe!!!!
