This was brilliant. The setting really is lovely, there's a lovely lawned area for a picnic or you can eat in the restaurant before the performance. The stage is open to the elements but in a beautiful woodland setting, though the audience are seated under cover so don't worry about the weather. Worth taking a warm top and perhaps a blanket for your knees as it can get a bit chilly later on even on a warm summer evening. Ample parking. We went to see 'As You Like It' and really enjoyed the performance. It was our first visit to Tolethorpe but definitely won't be our last
