There was a cold wind blowing when we visited but many of the birds were doing mating displays, or fighting off potential rivals. It is worth visiting several times a year because what is there changes with the seasons.

A somewhat expensive day out on a bitterly cold March day. The 3 year old grandson enjoyed being able to feed the ducks. I would however be a little bit cautious if your <5 is prone to running off, as the Marshland area is not fenced off in a child-proof manner. Not a negative comment, just a cautionary note. The cafeteria provided a comfortably warm welcome on our return from the walk

This is a fantastic day out for all the family both young and old. All the staff could not be more helpful, the facilities are fantastic and a good educational resourse

A good place for children and adults alike for a light lunch. Very informal self service but lively views of the lake and birds

Amazing day out for all the family to see nature up close in the Wetlands of Arundel. There is the opportunity for a boat ride but this is very popular with visitors. Visitors also have the chance to purchase bird food to feed the ducks and other birds as they walk round the wetlands centre. This is a place for any bird watcher and anyone interested in nature photography.

We are pleased you and your granddaughter enjoyed your half term visit in February. The Poo-ology and children’s crafts were very popular! The Wetlands Discovery boat safari runs every day, not just during half terms and holidays. Many families find a lot to do every time they visit including hand feeding the wildfowl in our World Wildfowl bay and exploring the bright and comfy family Discovery hide with its scopes to help new birders find spot our Top 10 wild birds. On of our two play areas has been closed for three months this winter but will reopen at the end of March in time for Easter holidays. We have been replacing some support timbers along the wooden walkways of the Pond Skater adventure area.

This is so brilliantly managed. I've never seen such a wide range of beautiful wetland birds in one place. There are enclosures and hides which make viewing the birds an absolute thrill - you can get really close. Lovely cafe too - sit there for a while and you may see a kingfisher...as we did!

Visited late January weekday. As members it's free to get in so is great value! Very quiet around the centre but sufficient bird life to make it interesting. Electric boat ride was as good as ever and managed to see a kingfisher fairly close by for about 2 mins before it departed. Also saw water voles in the reed beds area. Coffee and cakes in the restaurant were fine and the helpful staff always make it a pleasure to visit. Even though it was cold and grey it was a pleasant 1/2 day out.

For years I bypassed this WWT in favour of walking round Swanbourne Lake opposite (and free!) Then a friend invited myself and my husband to visit with them and I though why the heck not once won't hurt me! Well I am now a member and visit at least once a month. The cafe is lovely and priced as you would expect for an attraction in Arundel, I particularly like the cheese scones, yum. The shop is well stocked and without the 'must buy' pressure. The up to date information gives an excellent guide to what's about and where it was spotted. The reserve is well set out with hides spaced at regular intervals looking out over different landscapes/terrains. It is big enough to accommodate a large number of people without feeling crowded and with the two children's play areas, boat ride, nature area and pond dipping (open at various times) there is enough to keep a family entertained for several hours. Finally the staff and volunteers are a delightful bunch full of knowledge and seem pleased to help.

Plenty of parking spaces. A good electric boat that takes you around the wetlands part of the centre. Lots of different birds for you to see. Went to see the kingfishers, but unfortunately wasn't lucky enough this time. There are lots of different ducks and swans. You can buy food at the entrance to feed the ducks. There is a place for children to play and a bug centre, so the children get be hands on and explore the wildlife. The only down side was the café wasn't as good as the one in Slimbridge and I was a little disappointed. A lovely place though and well worth a visit.

Went here for a day out with my local photography group. For some of it was our first visit, but others had been here many times - we all enjoyed it. Make sue you take warm clothing and gloves. our group all ended up with interesting photos apart from me - I forgot to charge my battery before we came!I intend to get a season ticket - well worth it if you intend to visit a few times.

We discovered this place by accident visiting Arundel and have returned many times. On the first visit, on leaving, we upgraded to season tickets which are exceptionally good value for money. I often take my three year old but that does mean not spending too long in any one area. But that's fine as there's a lot of places to explore and two kids playgrounds and interactive things to do depending on the time of year. I'm not a twitcher but I do like birds, animals and the outdoors which this place has plenty. One can buy food to feed the ducks, go pond dipping, go on a boat ride. On our first ever boat visit we saw 5 water voles and a grass snake. I was thrilled. We are yet to see a Kingfisher there. On our last visit we saw the starlings murmurations which was brilliant. The food is good but a little expensive however there's a good selection for kids too. Every visit is a bit different and it's open all year round.

I never thought there were so many different types of ducks before I came here. I loved all of them and the Iceland enclosure was spectacular. There is plenty of space for all the ducks and they all seem very happy and they're not afraid of coming close enough for a photo. There were also lots of geese, Greylag and Canadian and swans, egret. Good value for money. It's a great day out whether you just want to see water life, wildlife, learn something or take photos. The boat ride was very relaxing and the girl steering was knowledgeable and entertaining. Wildlife I spotted last time (December): Buzzard, Grey Wagtail, Kingfisher, Pheasant. In summer I saw a water vole and finches.
