Went here with a 3 year old and a 6 year old after recently hearing about it. Fabulous place with good staff. Although small there was plenty to see and we all loved it. Fantastic value for money. We spent 3 hours there which and the kids didn't want to leave. Only downside was the cafe.... Very disappointing and needs a lot of updating. I would not recommend eating in here. Smelly, not that clean and lots of flies, not an enjoyable place to spend time. I am surprised that refurbishment of this hasn't featured more highly on their list of things to do. That said, we all want to go back very soon, this time we will just take a picnic.

Fortunately visited on a beautiful Spring day and were able to prolong the visit by sitting in the picnic area watching the children play. If it had been poor weather we would have struggled to fill an hour. The animal keepers were professional and knowledgeable but we felt neglected. Ideally it would better if there was an enthusiastic member of staff employed to communicate with visitors as they are walking round, asking how they are getting on and pointing them in the right direction. This would be particularly helpful for visitors with children. The staff working on the tills need better training especially on communication skills. We are sure it is work in progress and the children had a good time.

Me and my partner came on a quiet Tuesday. Was really nice to have so much space to see all the crocodiles. The environment was clean and tidy and had both an indoor and small outdoor section. The guy (Australian) was fantastic, he had so much knowledge and made it exciting and easy to understand! He had so much time to each person. He was also great with the animals! It was definitely a first time experience holding both a baby croc and a snake! We spent the whole day there as we wanted to hear every talk! It was a really nice day and I'd recommend a trip if you happy to relax, talk, learn and see!

We visited in the half term holidays on a really rainy day as a surprise trip for our son who loves crocodiles. It was a great day out and even though the venue was smaller than I expected there was still plenty to see and do. The staff there were really helpful and informative, especially Jamie. He answered a bombardment of questions from both my 2 year daughter and 5 year old son with patience, kindness and enthusiasm, beyond what I would expect of anyone. Both the children loved having a photo taken holding a small alligator too, they are now proud owners of magnets which are pride of place on their radiators

I disagree with some of the reviewers - this is well worth the money for a family ticket. Staff and engaging and helpful, the crocodiles are amazing, yes, they are all real. We saw the feeding at 1pm and its worth staying for. A brilliant afternoon out, plus there is a small cafe with ice creams, sandwiches, and hot drinks. Definitely go - its just moved to new premises so a few bits are still unfinished but it does not detract from the experience. Something more than an ordinary zoo and I would go again.

Not being the biggest fan of crocs / gators, I went with some trepidation but was more than pleasantly surprised. Staff were extremely knowledgeable and engaging. It was relatively quiet when we went, so staff were more than happy to spend their time explaining / informing. Got to hold both a croc and python. Represents great value for money and would recommend to anyone. Wish you the best of luck in your venture and keep up the good work.

We were a group of 2 adults, 2 teens and 2 small children. I was pleasantly surprised at how well set out and how nice it was. Lots of crocs but also snakes and other lizards. Great info about the reptiles, nice and educational. Small play area outside with picnic benches and tropical birds and tortoise. Lots of fun stuff for the kids including the chance to touch the animals at selected times. I wish we had timed out visit with the feeding times. Good gift shop. Out 2 year old hasn't let go of his plastic Croc we bought for £2.50 to prise him away! A good few hours entertainment. Cafe does nice coffee but take a packed lunch. Not as big a day out as some other local attractions but the price reflects that. We enjoyed it very much.

We took our 2 year old grandson son here last week. I think it was a bit much for him so older kids would enjoy it more. We did see newly hatched eggs and watch them get fed place we touched a Boa Constrictor. It is a very small park and you can see it all in 30-minutes but I hope over time it will grow and that they will offer other things to see.

We took our two little girls (1 & 3 years old) and they were thoroughly engaged for the time we spent here. We hadn't visited the old location, but the new barns have been well thought about and presented well.My only negative feedback would be that perhaps the tickets were a little expensive for a single visit. The Living Rainforest near Newbury is similarly priced but the ticket can be used to return as many times as you like within a year.

visited the zoo last weekend and thoroughly enjoyed it. Was a little sceptical as went with a group of adults (no children) but we all really enjoyed it. The staff were knowledgable and happy to answer a string of questions. We even held a young alligator and the staff were very patient with one member of our group who was very nervous doing so! All in all, we were there for 3-4 hours. I would say the cafe let them down as they had sold out of most soft drinks but we didn't use it so not fair to comment. Thanks very much, we look forward to seeing the zoo grow!

We visited Crocodiles of the World today for my son to take part in the junior keeper experience, my son is 9 years old. Laura (member of staff) was brilliant from the start, friendly, welcoming and very informative. Even though the junior keeper experience was only for 3 hours the amount of things they undertook was great and very hands on....in the words of my son "it was the best day ever." The only thing I found a shame as a parent was trying to take photos/video of the things he was taking part in when the centre was crowded and lots of people pushed in blocking my view! Apart from that it was a brilliant day....thank you Crocodiles of the World for helping my son have such a great time.

My husband bought entrance tickets as a gift for the family.... both my teenage daughters and I found the visit much more enjoyable than expected and would recommend a visit. There is ongoing building work and the cafe is pretty basic but the staff were enthusiastic and knowledgeable and we were all fascinated by the crocodiles and everything we learnt about them.

Brilliant place, full of enthusiastic staff. The zoo (they call it this) was really well design and run with loads of interesting facts. You can feel the passion for crocodiles by the way they are kept, the information available and the knowledge you can gain from the staff. In fact I was so impressed, I asked for a bundle of promotional fliers to bring back home to my campsite so I can encourage people who stay with us to visit as we are fairly local.Well done and keep up the good work. Only thing that needs improving is the snack room - there's money to be made here guys!

I brought my two younger cousins here for the afternoon and they had a brilliant time! I did worry they would be a bit scared but they loved it and just wanted to see everything. The staff are incredibly enthusiastic and knowledgable. From an adult perspective it was interesting and really great to see that they work to protect crocodiles for conservation so it's not a zoo. Be warned that is is warm in there so if you're going in winter you may want to leave the coats in the car! they have an adventure playground for the children to let off more steam but they will need coats in there.Great for a rainy day :)

Our first visit to Crocodiles of the world at it's new site. This is an amazing attraction. The staff are the most patient, knowledgeable, friendly, crocodile loving guys I've ever met. Seeing these creatures so close up is incredible. You learn so much, from the information boards and from asking the staff, who answer all questions even those from very small children with a real enthusiasm for their field. Nothing is rushed. We didn't use the cafe so can't comment on that, but hats off to these guys for their total commitment to the conservation of these animals. A great place for all ages.
