步行到此看到这美丽的建筑及环境,特别的圆形排列的房屋加上中间绿色的大树,是如此的搭配,会让人忍不住停下来不停的拍照,心想如果能住在这有多好呀!

A lovely circle of beautiful Georgian buildings all well maintained; well worth a walk around on a beautiful sunny day.

Bath is a beautiful place and the Circus is a must see stop just to marvel at more Georgian Architecture and the scale of this contruction.

The food was really good and the place is popular with locals. There is a pleasant atmosphere and the staff were very pleasant. The service was, on the whole good, although slipped a little in minor ways, certainly not enough to impact on a very enjoyable meal.

What a wonderful place and surely one of the places that makes Bath a World Heritage site. The Circus or originally known as the Kings Circus is John Wood the Elder's masterpiece. Unfortunately he never lived to see its completion and it was managed to completion by his son John Wood the Younger. This is just as magnificent as the Crescent -just different. It's also interesting to do some detective work to seek out the Masonic symbolism around the place and the adjoining streets -although not really understanding all of it -it is still quite intriguing all the same.

Your one step away from the royal crescent when you get to the circus and in my opinion I have to give it one star less so that the royal crescent takes the glory, unfair...yes....as there is little between them.

Beautiful architecture. Nice grass area you can have a picnic on in the summer. Originally called the King’s Circus, it consists of three curved segments of Grade I listed townhouses, arranged in a circular shape. For more info. see: http://visitbath.co.uk/things-to-do/the-circus-p56201

Similar architecture to the Royal Crescent, but here going all the way round a cenral park dominated by a huge tree. Peaceful and lovely.

This circus typifies Georgian architecture and is of the grand scale, and it worth a trip to the city in its own right. One marvels at the foresight of the planners and builders who crafted this feature

A lovely place to visit and wander around, admiring the front doors with their individual door knockers and the stunningly elegant Georgian architecture. Not far from the epicentre of the city and a very pleasant walk.

Very impressive Georgian buildings which are for the most part still in first rate condition. Nice grassed area in the centre to sit during better weather.

Beautiful, however nothing hugely different as far as we could tell from the other beautiful streets in Bath. Good to pass through if you are heading to Royal Crescent.

If you walk uphill from the centre of Bath you will eventually arrive at the Circus. This 360° circle of Georgian terraced houses is reminiscent of the Colosseum. The three clearly defined floors of the buildings are each decorated with a different style of column, Greek, Roman & Corinthian. If you look closely at the top of the first floor you will see symbols all the way along, showing icons from the arts & sciences, some say there are masonic symbols in there too. The Circus was completed in 1768 a few years before the Royal Crescent just five minutes walk away. It is tri-sected if that is a word, by three roads and at the centre is a small park.

Visited to see what Georgian houses looked like back in the day as I had heard it was like going back in time...I was not disappointed, absolutely breath taking. It made me wish all the cars could be taken away though, but the residents need to park somewhere!

These homes are beautiful, but really you will only walk up the hill from Bath for a photo opportunity
