This area of Delft used to be the property of the nearby factory. The houses built here were for the people working in the factory and their families. As you walk around the park and the houses you have a feeling of being submerged in another time. It is nice to see that the inhabitants are doing what they can to preserve this feeling. There is a local cafe at this park where you can sit down to enjoy some tea or coffee.

If you want to experience a -post-industrialistic village inbedded in the town of Delft.. go there! It is originated early 1900.. and was the first social housing project ever and an initiative of the Yeast- and pennicillin factory
