这里有着历史悠久的制陶史,各种不同的展品也非常有趣!遗憾的是,参观完工厂之后我们都觉得这里已经过了最辉煌的时期。这里几乎没有工人,而且产量也非常小。参观完爱尔兰的Waterford Crystal Factory之后我也有同样的感觉,稍后他们就宣布关闭了。

这是个有趣的自助语音导览,可以近距离接触工匠们。能看到这个瓷器制造工厂的历史是件不错的事情。这个工厂有停车场,你可以不用停在街上而交当地的停车费。

我本来以为代尔夫特的产品就是传统的蓝色和白色样式的风车呢。这次去那参观让我看到了这里各种各样的样式和颜色的风车。导游对这里非常了解还有能看到瓷器的生产过程挺有趣的。产品的多样性和美丽让我目不暇接。旅行的最后我们去了一家很好的工艺品礼品店,不过里面人有些多。在这你会忍不住带一些小东西回家的。这次旅行让我印象深刻,我绝对推荐大家来这里旅行。

Nice museum. Not really for kids. The audio tour is very convenient and adds a lot to the experience.You can walk from the old city center but it's rather far, at least 30 minutes. The reception staff is very helpful in getting around and explains everything. There are free lockers, definitely use them.

The museum is a comfortable 15-20 minutes walk from the main train station, alongside some quiet streets and canals. The interactive presentation should be especially fun for kids and young people, packed with interesting facts. The porcelain items you can purchase are beautiful (albeit priced quite steep at times).

This town is so fun to walk in, which is good, since the factory/store is quite a distance from the train station! We meandered and had to ask locals how to find the factory because signs were few and far between. All the locals we spoke with we're happy to help. The selection was quite the assortment from the cheap, typical souvenir type all the way to very expensive one of a kind! It was hard to decide because of the variety. No one pressured us, but were happy to assist when asked. There is a tour of the factory which we arrived too late to take. I found some great pieces and am glad that we made the effort to find this out of the way place!

Wonderful experience to learn about the history of the factory, to see artidt at work, all the stage of production as well as their stunning collection! Not to be missed!

This was a part of the guided tour for us at Amsterdam. Royal Delft is a ceramic factory cum museum cum showroom. It is actually royal blue delft, blue because this is the color they paint on all their wares. The tour guide was a very learned employee of Royal Delft and took us around the place telling us about all the pieces of information. You would see an artisan doing the painting, the tile painting, the factory where you would actually learn how a pot/ware is made and in the end is the showroom where you can pick a souvenir. If at all you are wondering that you might get this kind of souvenir somewhere else u r mistaken, if you like something pick it up from there.

Do yourself a favor and find this little spot of heaven. Take a self guided tour. The place is small but I can stand there for hours watching the workers do their thing. They are behind glass walls but it's amazing the intricate work they create and the beauty after it's been glazed is amazing. If you can like something and can afford it, buy it! They'll happily ship it home for you (at a cost of course) but well worth the added expense to get a beautiful work of art in your home. I know a plate or other object might not normally be considered "art" but in my opinion, that's exactly what it is. I have a few pieces of my own and treasure them.

I was not expecting much but enjoyed (more a place for coach tours and not my scene) but the quirky format and accompanying well explained videos @ the start of the almost self guided tour (Head Sets are handed out @ start) made visit enjoyable. Learnt a few new aspects re- materials and history of these distinctive tiles, kitchenware and structural ceramics. The shop is well stocked the cafe teas with free fill ups was a nice touch, as well as the delic. marzipan coffee petit fours. Loos immaculate as you would expect. All staff polite and proud despite being clearly off season.

The tour takes you through the history of how Royal Delft came to be as well as how it's made. You get to see artists in action as well as look round the factory where they make and fire the delftware. You also get an insight into the history of ceramic making in the Netherlands as well as what they're doing recently to stay innovative.

The factory tour as a part of our sightseeing in Amsterdam and Delft was worth it! The fine way in which the porcelain, the kitchware and other items of household is created, makes them truly extraordinary. It is a laborious and painfully hard and patient job. Only the experienced excel. It is worth a visit for all those who love art, creativity and beauty.
