Ok so we have been here almost every year since 1991 and have seen it grow and develop. We always book via the Duinrell website (nowadays!). It is such value for money that we have always brought a friend for each of our children! If you book via the Duinrell website you have included in the price not only your choice of accommodation, which is superior to anything the Brits have established at this park; but also free entrance to the Tikki Bad (swimming pool) every day. If you book early enough you can get 3hrs free and at any time of your choice for swimming. Lots of great water slides; lovely area for little ones to play safely. The rest of the park is outside and offers rides as can be found at Alton Towers. I always say it is the combined pleasure of both Centre Parcs and Alton Towers. All staff speak English; the accommodation is comfortable and clean, warm and with English speaking tv. Do visit the market on the Tuesday morning; great for cheese and various european breads and pastries - yum! Supermarkets are within the town of Wassenaar. We always go for the 4 nights 5 days option; arriving at 11am on the Monday and leaving after lunch on the Friday travelling via Brugges for pizza in the Grande Place and buying our Leonidas chocolates! Going again end of this month!

We stayed here this summer with our 2 young boys (5&3). We stayed in a Duingalow which was well furnished and in a nice quiet spot. The attractions are sooo good. Our children were too small for a lot of rides but everything they did have for their age range was fantastic and they had a ball! Lots of good parks within the site too.We hired bikes and quite often cycled the 5km to the Beach which is well worth a visit. Lovely clean beach with a strip of bars and retaurants.Good shop on site and the food at 'La Place' is fantastic if a tad expensive - but I guess that is to be expected.Tiki pool is fab too, the boys loved it.Overall a wonderful holiday and we are looking forward to getting back!

We stayed at Duinrell in the April half term and I was pleasantly surprised as Wassenaar is so beautiful. Myself, mum, dad and younger brother stayed near to the plaza. Each morning we went and got a baguette for breakfast. We spent the rest of the day at the theme park which also had some good exciting ride, at the great beach, at the tiki pad or on day trips to Amsterdam and The Hague. We hired go karts to wizz around the park on and bikes to cycle to the beach on. The facilities were great and something for everyone. Would definitely recommend

I stayed at the holiday park for 4 nights and had a great time. Free admission for the theme park and small charge for water park were an added bonus!Great central location for visiting Amsterdam and the Hague with easy transport to both but also set close a picturesque village for local shopping and relaxing.

Stayed here for our main summer holiday and the kids loved the amusement park.. Lots to do for all ages and even the food was of a great standard. Kids were more than entertained with the rides there were some big thrill seeking rides to keep them going back for more. Free of charged if staying on the site as well

I stayed here for 4 nights and had a brilliant time. We visited the water park for a few hours every afternoon/evening as it was a lot quieter at this time meaning there was no queuing for the slides. Large variety of slides for all ages and also a lazy river and wave pool to relax in. Theme park was good again for a few hours each day again with little queuing. Great for families with both young and older children.

Went here in September 2014 with my hubby, our 2 children aged 5 and 7 and my brother, his wife and their 2 children aged 5 and 6. Fantastic family holiday! The caravan's were well equipped with everything you could need, on arrival our caravan didn't have a microwave (but my brothers did) so I reported it to the Thompson staff who were amazing and had a new one delivered to us within the hour!. Park has everything you need to keep the children amused and they loved everything from the rides, swimming pool to the playgrounds or simply just running around outside the caravan. We hired bikes and rode into the local town of Leiden, which at the time happened to be in the middle of its annual festival, which was amazing whole town parties for 3 days non-stop with live bands in the street, stalls, funfair, entertainers and food to die for!. Local village/town also has a market on a Sunday which was great! Kids were so exhausted after spending the day in the theme park and swimming pool that we didn't even get a chance to sample their evening entertainment, instead choosing to return to the caravan put the kids to bed and relax with a bottle of wine! all in all a fantastic holiday and will definitely be going again!

So I have been visiting this place now for 11 years. Every year I try to make a trip if only for a weekend. This year we went for the half term in October as we had my nephew and niece. Again the place is wicked for kids and adults alike. Theme park is good even though it is ageing and the waterpark is fantastic. We spent most days with a walk through the park and a play on the rides followed by a couple of hours in the pool in the evening. Only negative I found this year is the huge increase of prices at the super market, bar and restaurant. This year we stayed with Canvas Holidays for the 3rd time and could not fault them at all. I would definitely recommend them.

First time to this site and was highly recommended by our friends. We stayed 5 nights and the accomodation was good. The caravan was well equipped with everything you need to cook and Aldi's wasn't too far away (5min drive) The park had everything you could want in a park. It was ideal for the wee ones right up to the teenagers. The water park was the best I've seen anywhere in the UK by a mile. The flumes were so fast I banged my elbow and its still sore after 2 weeks!! I only have 2 negative comments. The Wifi was dreadful as we were in a dead zone and the site had limited English translations. All in all, it was a good holiday, the freak storm hit us, but that didn't dampen the kids spirits. We would return in the future. Thanks

We spent 3-4 hours strolling through the park. Our 3 year old son was very enthusiastic and there were enough exciting things for a 3 year old as well. There is enough to do for kids of all ages. Adventure themed areas, carrousel, toddlers train, indoor playground (big) and outdoor playgrounds. Enough to do for a day out. Nice food in the area as well. We are considering staying in The camping cottages (Duingalows) one of the next times we visit The Hague.

We booked 5 days at the site, having previously been to Butlins and Centre Parks. There is not a mass of rides but our 6 year old was able to go on all but 1 of them, my other 2 were more restricted but could still enjoy fast roller coasters, they appear a bit more relaxed with health and safety but it is not dangerous, we were just not used to it.They have photos from the rides. Which cost €2 to e-mail to yourself! Brilliant idea. The swimming facilities are fantastic, plenty of the slides for the kids and a couple for adults which my mate described as "Now I know how it feels to be flushed down a toilet"... I'd describe it as "the fastest Aqua free fall whilst borderline drowning"... It was was steep and quick. It's not Alton towers but overall great value for money, at no point were we or the kids bored and we would all come back in the future.

duinrell is a massive campsite were you can go to chill out and it even has some great roller coasters and a tiki bad which is their very own water park with great slides for all ages. in terms of places to stay diurnal has canvas, al fresco, key camp, euro camp, and select a camp. diurnal also has duingalows which are bungalows you can buy for a week or however long you stay for. overall duinrell is a great family destination for all ages.

Just back from a week at Duinrell with my grand kids, what a great time we had. The theme park had a great range of rides to suit all ages and the Tiki Bad pool was fantastic. Staying in a mobile home close to the park and the attractions meant that we where 2 minutes from everything. The site was good and the entertainment at night was very good. Even when the weather turned bad there was plenty to do. local town was great with good range of restuarants..

We really enjoyed a whole day at Duinrell. We went with our whole family including three kids (2,3 and 7 years old). There was many attractions for the small kids but also enough for the adults too. The parc has a mix of oldfashioned attractions and modern ones. You pay an entry fee and almost everything is free (attractions). There is many cafees and places to eat at normal prices. We all had a great day and we will return again soon!

We are a family of 4 with boys of 7 & 9. We booked a Duingalow through the Duinrell park. We had 2 nights in a Comfort Duingalow - and it was total luxury! Every convenience, clean, comfortable, warm, cosy, good beds, sunny garden, wifi etc. Everything ran smoothly with arrival (30 seconds to collect key at friendly reception!) and departure from park. Free parking all weekend. We had 3 full days from 10am till 5pm every day in the park/pool. Even though we only had the accommodation from 3pm Friday till 10.30am Sunday, you can still enter the park on Friday from 10am for free and swim free between 1000-1400 on both days. The park itself was not too big; some great roller coasters for my boys. Some rides they weren't 1,50m so couldnt go on. So definitely still good for kids up to about 12.We were lucky with beautiful weather, and even though it was 1/2 term, it was not too crowded.Beautiful location, lovely park. Our kids especially enjoyed the midget golf, bowling, go-karting (we hired their own for the weekend) and water slides in the pool. An absolutely brilliant, relaxing, wonderful, happy weekend! No hidden costs. Definitely will book again next year!
