特殊的建筑结构,令人流连忘返,玩味许久。看着那一块块突出的建筑体,真的无法想像在里面的人站立在哪个墙面?

I was wondering, houses are quite normally cubic or cuboid- so what is "so special" about Cube Houses here? Well, I think it is a nice example of Imagination put to practice. Breaking the code, placing the cubes in an unusual pattern and exhibiting the beauty of 'abnormal' things. If you are not convinced about the innovation of these designs, then take a visit of inside. We did. 3 Euro and you can check out a house from inside. No country and no construction firm is behind others in working on efficient management of space, but these cubes will immediately tickle your brain. Architectural geniuses! So much light, so much coziness and still spacious.Totally worth it!

Curious to see ... 1980s a nadir for design. Interesting to visit to see a very different approach to living. Loving light, views and space ... I had fun imagining how difficult it would be to live in this space. A concept which challenges rather than enhances living. Go see the museum for the interior ... photos of other residents living would be an eye opener to see how you can live successfully in this space! Exterior very shabby and requires some tlc. If you are unable to climb stairs you won't be able to access.

we visited here as my partner is an architect so obviously it was less interest to me anyway. I'd seen photos online before hand, wish it had just ended there. It's good for the curiosity factor but the outside of the houses are no longer as bright and attractive as the photos seem, there a dingy yellow, the location of it is a little confusing as the back part of it is so rough, there's a closed down bar, it's like a mini run down estate and then all touristy at the front. Good for €3 to end your curiosity of how it works the shape it is, but we booked a hotel near by for the night thinking they'd be super interesting.

Apparently someone decided downtown Rotterdam was too boring and business orientated so the commissioned an architect to build these small yellow cube houses. One is open to the public for a small fee. Lots of stairs, cramped, weird angles, small windows with restricted view.Very Rotterdam: Interesting design, fun, but in this case not very practical. Worth a short visit as its next to Markthal.

It was a bit extraordinary to see these houses fixed on one angle and look like hanging! nice to see

This little village of cubed houses was beautiful, like you´ve stepped into a storybook. The location was randomly over a big traffic junction, next to the huge market, but to be able to go into one and have a poke around was quite cool. With our discount book from the Central Station (definitely get yourself one of those) we paid only a few euros which was fine. These cool houses are 100 square metres over 3 floors, I´d love to have one!

I wasn't really interested in going to or seeing the houses..... but when I got to Rotterdam and saw them I was fascinated by them! They are stunning pieces or architecture. Yes, as some people have said, they are a few years old and maybe look a little tired, but that doesn't take away from the architecture. You can go inside one of the houses, it's not too dear and it's good to see inside to see what the layout is.

One of the most famous milestones of Rotterdam.designed by Dutch architect Piet Blom and defined as "living as an urban roof"!!One can visit one of the houses, fully furnished for just 3€! And have an idea of how to live in a cube!!

It is a very cool design for a building. The visit of this house is very quick (10-20min) and the price is ok (3€). There are few floors with kitchen, living room, bedroom etc. It is nice to see this building from inside but, overall, it is nothing special and the spaces are very small. I recommend it for 2-3 people. If you are with more people, it is probably worth to just look at them from the outside.

When they first build, I am sure they were very intresting. But today, they seems little old and dirty. But it is cheap to visit inside of the houses and you can walk around in the garden without paying.

If you love architecture (like I do) this is a must see. You literally stand there and look at it and wonder how this really works... It's cute. Certainly worth a few pics!!

It was really interesting to me to see Kijk-Kubus.I have not seen anything like that.I'm still wondering how it looks inside.

Small and narrow but nice to see inside. Could not live there too small. It is very near to the old harbor where you can sit by the water and have a coffee or meal.

It is a very interesting design the way it was build. At 3 euros I find it very expensive at it takes less than 5 minutes to see everything. It is very old and dated inside the place. Not worth the price as it is more impressive from the outside.
