these botanical gardens have lots to see and are very beautiful as they are on a large mountain and the view of the sea adds to the beauty of this place. When we visited they had two gorgeous parrots (valentina and Miranda I think they were called) that you can take pictures with.I loved the visit to the botanical gardens and if I ever have the opportunity I will defiantly come back and visit.

sea views and amazing diversity of plants, trees and flowers!!! do not miss it when visiting the costa brava. a nice train will bring you to the garden from blanes city center.

We stayed in Blanes some years ago and went by bus up to these wonderful gardens set high above the coast line giving fantastic views and wonderful plants from all over the world. So glad we went as we enjoyed this visit so much. Cannot understand why it is not listed amongst the best gardens.

I so enjoyed this visit!!! Did not have a lot of expectations, but is is so beautiful, it is a must visit if you are in the vicinity. set on cliffs, overlooking the ocean, beautiful plants and flowers. cost is cca 6 eur per person. there is a castle next to it, you can drive/walk to and it offers beautiful views over the town and sea.

Not into gardens and plants but this was definitely worth the trip, lovely setting and fantastic views on the Med and cliffs.It's up a hill so would probably take a good 15-20 mins to walk from central Blanes but we got the bus for 5 euros.We got a picture with the friendly parrots for 7 euros.Would advise to go on a sunny day for the best views, definitely worth the trip.

Very nice place to visit if you are in Blanes. Think it's 5 euros on the bus to the gardens, then it's 6 euros to get in I think. nice flowers, lovely view of the ocean from this little view point. get photos with parrots! Don't have to buy if you don't want to.

We went to Marimutra by foot from Blanes. That give us amazing view to sea, port and Blanes. In Botanic is a lot of plants, it's amazing and incredible. I haven't see nothing similarly before. I'm plant lover and this was unrepeatable experience for me. A lot of amazing allworld plants.Then, everything was clean and from some places you have a nice look to sea and surrounds.Yop, and you can get a photo with parrot. :)

Lovely gardens with amazing views. It's located in Blanes ( however you need to take car to get there). Great alternative from beach, worth seeing it! Be aware of the fact that when travelling with a baby in a trolley, you need to (unfortunately) choose shorter way without stairs (which is there a lot). It seems to have very limited parking area, it might be difficult to find a place in high-season.

Highly recommended. Great views of Costa Brava and the sea. My 2 children (14, 8 boys) and myself enjoyed it very much

The gardens start with cacti of different types then opens up into arbor lined pathways with stunning foliage and flowers from different parts of the world. The views of the bays are simply stunning and really make this garden worth visiting.

Well worth the 6 euro entrance free I had a lovely peaceful walk round the gardens and the views were fantastic

absolutely beautiful, would definitely recommend a visit. views are stunning, and the plants/flowers are interesting and unique. have to pay 6 euros to enter but it is worth it.

Visited this gardens, what a place and only 6 euros to get in. You can get a free bus from Malgrat and Santa Sussana, will only take about 1 hour to walk round, but the flowers and plants on show are fantastic. Also visit the beach that is 5 mins away
