Easy walk on tracks past or along the equally delightful playa Genovese. In late November when we walked we only saw a couple of people the peaceful atmosphere and the coastal scenery were marvellous

We visited in November when it was really quiet. It's a gorgeous beach. Access is via a dirt track so take care. I would recommend taking one of the off road tours offered by local companies so that you can take the track over the mountain to the light house. The view from the top is amazing.

This is a great natural beach and a beautiful sight. As the Lonely Planet Guide says, the whole of the Costa del Sol must once have looked like this.

The beach as such is good, but why do the people there think it is a nudist place? Completely naked sun-bathers is not what you expect around you at a beach for the general public, that claims to be one of the best in the Parque.

This is where they filmed some of Indiana Jones and the last Crusade ! Be prepared to walk to see the lovely coves and beaches !

Thanks to Spielberg and Indiana Jones this beach is probably over-rated. However, despite the 10 minute off-road drive and 5 euros car parking fee you might think it worth a visit. In the afternoon when the wind gets up the sea can be exhilarating and lively. Not much shade.

Precious place, amazing view from up the dune and rocks. We were unlucky to go on windy days ("levante" wind), so we had problems with the parasol. Still we could do some snorkelling, which was very nice!

Get here early as it is a small beach and numbers are restricted. The beach is volcanic sand and the sea so clear and warm. Bumpy road to get there, but worth it. Take a picnic - there are no facilities!

Der Monsul Beach ist einer meiner absoluten Favoriten. Er ist sehr naturbelassen und wer hier eine Toilette, Dusche oder einen Kiosk sucht der wird enttäuscht sein da der Strand sehr abgelegen ist (Ich empfehle Pic-nic mit zunehem und genug Wasser). Der Strand ist nebst seinem Majestätischen aussehen super zum Schnorcheln in den Felsen gibt es allerlei Fische und Tintenfische. Ich war Jetzt mit meiner Familie schon einige Male in San Jose und die Strandtage am Monsul gehören zu meinen besten Erinnerungen, ist also auf jeden fall einen Besuch wert! Achtung es werden aber gerne Autos ausgeraubt auf den Parkplätzen. Am besten alle Wertgegenstände so verstauen, dass sie nicht sichtbar sind oder sie mit an den Strand nehmen.

Questa è a mio parere la spiaggia più bella del parco, le sue formazioni rocciose che mostrano una grande varietà di contenuti minerali, i diversi colori delle rocce, le ondulazioni create dal vento sulla sabbia sono molto suggestivi. ancora più bella in questa stagione, senza ombrelloni e bagnanti, nel suo splendido isolamento.

Spiaggia molto particolare e paesaggistica, soprattutto il tratto di strada per arrivarci è molto panoramico!!!La spiaggia secondo me assume un aspetto particolare al tramonto quando si svuota e il cielo e il mare assumono dei colori particolari...attenzione perchè durante i periodi estivi il parcheggio della spiaggia ha dei posti limitati e quindi si rischia di trovare la strada chiusa...infatti nel mio caso ci sono tornato nel tardo pomeriggio!

En Mónsul y las playas cercanas todo es bonito, son preciosas, luminosas y muy limpias. Una auténtica gozada.

In ottobre non c'era praticamente quasi nessun turista e ci siamo goduti la spiaggia e il paese di San Josè. Faceva ancora decisamente caldo, tanto che abbiamo fatto il bagno. Purtroppo non ci sono molti locali aperti, ma era l'atmosfera giusta per gustarsi questo paesaggio magnifico!

Coincidio que estaba atardeciendo y fue precioso. Es una de las playas mas bonitas del cabo de gata.Es de las mas grandes y su entorno es precioso.

Una playa virgen con unos accesos bastante bien cuidados y con unas vistas desde ella preciosas, en línea con la playa de los Genovesses aunque más pequeñita y recogida
