Interesting, fun place to be for the day out. Pleasingly stocked zoo to view. Need to be the early enough to see the gun fight show

The advantage of a low season visit is that you have it to yourself. The shows were a bit thin on performers, but good silly fun. My 24 year old daughter thought the can can was a bit too sexualised for a family show - but I liked it! The days for caged big animals should be long gone but otherwise the zoo is one of the best. Meerkats are endlessly engaging. We spent an engaging four hours before the town got too small for all of us and our spurs glinted ss we rode off into the sunset . . .

We went on New Years Day, the park is only open Holidays and weekends in the winter. Kids enjoyed the Western Town and show. Was a bit hokey for jaded adults, but was all well done and maintained. Need to review For a Few $ More and Good Bad and the Ugly to see what is identifiable. The Zoo was a nice surprise. Much larger than we imagined with a lot of animals. It was a cool sunny day and most of the animals were out and about. In the morning we had most of the far newer area of the zoo to ourselves. Kids loved it. As mentioned elsewhere it is a long walk over to the other hill. Stairs up from near the white tiger to the parrot show area save some time walking. Staff was friendly. Kids sat on a cowboys horse and had their pictures taken. Big smiles.Overall worth it for a good family outing

We had a great day out here, the entertainment was great - saloon scenario - gun shoot scenario etc, the only downfall was it was all spoken in Spanish with no English examples so we had some difficulty understanding
