Have been to Chemies bar last year and this year. It is always buzzing with ex-pats and holiday makers alike. it is a great place probably the best bar in the Plaza. Free Wifi and John Smiths and Guinness on tap. If your at the Plaza give it a go.

'Terrible customer service' oh noooooooo she didn't!!! You must have been in the wrong bar pal or maybe you had one to many gluten free crisps! As chemies happens to be the best place to go in the Costa blanca! And as far the staff and the owners son he is the funniest and nicest guy I know full of banter. So I suggest you take a page out of his book and grow a sense of humour! We are off to chemies for the new year to hang out with the hilarious staff. Peace out

Chemies is the best bar in the plaza!! Me and my husband have an apartment in Villamartin and visit regular! The first place we go for a drink is Chemies! The family who run the bar are so friendly and make you very welcome. Along with the family, the barmaids and barman are also welcoming and never forget a face! An all round great place

Chemies is the best bar ever! The staff are so friendly and fun. We go there every time we are in villa Martin and they always make us very welcome. The staff are amazing and very friendly. A good place to meet up and enjoy a good night.

Chemies is a great bar with an excellent atmosphere, I found all the bar staff, even the owners sons to be polite cortious and great fun. Would definitely recommend a visit if your in the Villamartin Area.

We all stopped off here for a few drinks one Sunday whilst on holiday. One of our party is a coeliac and has a gluten intolerance and wanted some crisps with her drink, and another of our party wanted some cigarettes. So when I went to get in my round I asked the owners son first for the drinks, then were the crisps gluten free. He tutted and marched into the back grabbed the bag and pointed to 'sin gluten' on the bag. He ran his finger along the bag like he was reading a sign to a child. I laughed this off and then asked him was there anywhere to buy cigarettes for one of our party. He said 'NO PAL!! check out one of the shops!!' As I walked away I heard him saying to the other people at the bar in a loud voice that I was asking about gf crisps and then bloody cigarettes!!. I could see him in the mirror pointing to our group and making a series of hand gestures. The husband and wife that own this bar prior to their son coming on shift I must add were lovely. Their 'barman' son however needs to take a leaf out of their book re: customer service. As he sulked about like a petulant child even though he had to be in his early 30's. We left straight afterwards and never returned.Sorry guys not a pleasant experience..

always a good drink sometimes a bit crowded but very freindly people often pop in for a drink before or after a meal

We always go to Chemies, good atmosphere and freindly staff! Great view on the top floor of the plaza.
