春节前和爸妈一起去西班牙,正好赶上马德里的狂欢节。狂欢队伍从丽池公园出发,到cibeles广场集结,最后以音乐烟火结束,挺完美的。
The first thing we saw as we stepped off the airport shuttle bus was the Palacio de Cibeles and it took our breath away. Any thoughts of rushing to our hotel went by the wayside as we stopped to take pictures. We went back the following day to visit and it is equally beautiful inside.
A free house in the heart of Madrid this lovely building allow you to discover the top floors where you can take many nice pictures , specially in the sunset time. They have a cocktail bar terrace but to go in you need to have a drink at least but the experience is worth.Summer time will be the best option.Walking distance from sol, city centre, just 10 minutes.
Beautiful building inside and out. Free entry unless you want to go to the observation deck. Tourist information counter located inside. A few levels were dedicated to some nice art exhibitions. Short walk to the gardens.
The building has been recently under a profound renovation and is really worth a short visit. The building is beautiful with plenty of details. Do visit it INSIDE since it is Free.Do not miss the terrace for a unique Cibeles sightseeing. You may want to try the chill out terrace but it is a little over price. There are exhibitions on a regular basis at the first floor.
When in Madrid, don't forget to enter the palace. It only costs 2 euro's to be able to enter (at a designated time). When you're at the top of the panorama deck, be sure to walk all the way around and see what Madrid has to offer. By far the best view is seen the moment you step out on the deck. Cibeles fountain and the view of all the photogenic Madrileño buildings is just fantastic. The palace in itself is quite impressive as well. Beautiful white building which has areas for the locals to also sit around and do some work or just hang out for a bit and do some reading. You only need to pay a fee if you want to go to the panorama deck. Otherwise it's free to enter.
This is a landmark building in the heart of Madrid. It has on observation deck (2 euros admission) which offers terrific views all around the city.It also houses some art, but nothing of much interest to a tourist. I was bothered that one of the exhibitions was quite socialist in orientation, lambasting Western wastefulness and world income inequalities, without offering any useful advice.
Good walk and you can find it in a beautifull square. It´s great. White big building. You have closing many interesting buildings and central statuesRecomended.
This is one impressive building. Did not go inside, as the outside was very captivating. make sure you have the camera ready as it makes for some great pictures.
We did not go inside the building but from outside the building structure is still impressive. It is closed to Puerta de Alcala.Take your camera and grab a good pictures around this place.
There has been a slight change since I last visited in October 2014 in that there is now a charge for the terrace bar. It is 4.50 euros per head but keep hold of your ticket since the money is deducted from your drink. Since a beer is 6 euros, this should be easily covered. The advantage of this charge however is that the large number of people that simply came to the bar, took a selfie and left should be reduced leaving it a more pleasant experience for the paying customer. Be aware the the toilets are couple of floors below.
You can't go to Madrid and miss out on Cibeles but what most people don't realise is that there is a sky bar. It's a little pricey but worth a visit.
The outside of this building is quite impressive and no matter where you are in Madrid, you will always see this place. But the highlight is the view from the terrace! I could see all of downtown Madrid and the view was spectacular...well worth the entrance fee.
The vast stone plaza spread out before me and then the stone palace sat on top of the stone plaza and the sunlight seemed to merge everything into one. Kind of a 'so what' to see the palace, but I am glad that I did.
Beautifull building and on top you can visit the panoramic deck with a 360-view over Madrid. Also the inside of the building is very nice, with some relaxing seating area
