There were 3 of us that went to topgolf. We got there at noon and the place was packed already. I think we ended up waiting for about 15-20 for a lane. When we got up there it was great. The place was clean and we all had a great time. The food was really expensive to me. I would have like to see a little cheaper food selection. I guess we could have eat before we went and that's is probably what we will do next time. We are from Alabama and really wished they had one here. I think I would go to it all the time. Not only to you get to practice your golf but its heated to keep you warm on those cool days like it was when I went.
Top Golf is a unique attraction and you really do not have to be a great golfer to enjoy it. You do have to have enough skill to swing a club, and hit the ball, but it is a fun experience. The Good: The various games you can play are fun, It is great for a group function, family function or even business function. You pay by the hour, rates vary by time of day, and they want you playing every minute you are there. We have tried 5-6 of the items and all were pretty good, mostly on the appetizer and soup side (Asian Chicken Wings, Gumbo, Nachos,). A decent selection of beers. The Bad: It is usually packed. Hard to get a good bay, and very busy. Service was both really good (twice) and really bad (once). Much depends on who is your server, how far your rented golf "Bay" is from the service, and what you order.Overall, it is great fun, and certainly worth doing a time or two. I you have a large group, the rental fees can be split, and it is only ;marginally more expensive than if you went to a sports bar. Give it a try.
A great place to practice your swing, or just have a good time. Plenty of choices for all levels of golfers and a nice bar too!
So technically I haven't played yet... but a group of us intended to but there was like a 2 hour wait. So we had food and just hung out. But we got to check out one of the bays and fool around while they were waiting on a reservation. We will definitely be back. It's a fun atmosphere, the food is really good and, quite frankly, the spot is poppin'!! Take a swing for me next time you go. :)
Went for the first time over the weekend and it was really fun. You have to pay $5 per person the first time to get your Topgolf cards and we went before noon so it was $25 for the first hour and we had a total of four of us. They have the clubs there so you do not need to bring any and have several different games you can play. The balls have a chip in it so it tracks how far you hit it and how many points you get for putting it in the large target holes. Any age can go and it really is kind of like bowling the way it is set up. They have a full menu and you have a waiter that will bring your drinks or food to your game area. We enjoyed it so much we extended our playing time which is very easy to do and we will certainly go back. They even have a roof top bar and when we went the bar area was packed and the food looked pretty good. It is off exit 8 of GA 400 and really is a great concept.
My husband and some of our friends went to Topgolf for the first time to celebrate his birthday. We had an amazing time. He's a professional golfer. The rest of us barely own golf clubs. We ALL had fun. This is a great location for all levels- from newbies to super experienced golfers. The atmosphere was fun and our server, Monique, was absolutely fabulous! I would absolutely recommend you ask for her if you can! Looking forward to going back!
The facility is second to none, and the food and drinks are very good. The game itself it a lot of fun, and good for all abilities. The only issue is the huge crowds, so work around busy times as they don't take reservations.
By now everyone who has heard of TopGolf wants to go to one anytime they are near one. This place has a nice bar, nice atmosphere, nice music, and you can hit golf balls. The set up is done so well that you can enjoy being out there in any kind of weather.
We really like TopGolf for a few hours of family fun. Much like going to an indoor bowling alley, but you're outdoors on a nice day enjoying the fresh air! Food is very good. Staff could be more helpful and waitstaff could be more attentive.
Love the set up and game atmosphere of top golf. Once we got to our bay the service wasExcellent. However the service in the bar area was awful. The waitress had major attitude and was completely put out by us ordering.
My husband is a golfer, I am not. My husband enjoyed being able to get some golf in-while it was pouring down rain and I had fun taking a few swings as well. The quality and detail put into this establishment is fantastic. Topgolf is a great place for a family outing or a date. We had a group of eight ranging in age from 4 to 56. Everyone had a great time, golfer or not. The food is excellent! http://topgolf.com/us/alpharetta/
My son and daugher in law visited while in town for our family Christmas. It was rainy and cold, but they were warm and dry and could not believe what a great experience it was. Will definitely return.
Never been to Top Golf before. Very satisfied with the atmosphere and the food. Surprisingly good food. If you like golf, you will love, Top Golf.
We really enjoyed all the amenities there but a 4 hour wait? I could go through all the things that everyone else talked about but you know the good. If you could've experienced them without the long wait, it would've been great. Unfortunately, the wait has turned us off from returning anytime soon. Maybe after a while it will cool off some...
Instead of entering the shopping frenzy, our extended family came here for Black Friday. And we had a spectacular time! Fortunately, we had reservations because the wait time was over 2 hours by the time we left. This was my family's first time at a TopGolf. I couldn't help but notice that the way it is set up is very similar to a bowling alley. You pay by the hour though. Not all the "lanes" are the same. We had two "lanes" that included seating with cushions, while many others had metal tables and chairs. Each golf ball has a tracking device. A large touch-screen allows you to enter your players (we had six on one lane). A 'game' consists of hitting 20 balls. The screen tells you which target holes you are supposed to aim at. Our server suggested we let each player hit 5 balls, which means you are only aiming at 4 holes during each game. As each of you go up to hit, remember to indicate your player number on the touchscreen or your hit will count toward the previous player. Around each hole's flag, nets are set up underground to catch your ball. Your score is based on how close to the hole your ball lands. Not sure all the holes had the same number of score zones, but there were around 3 or 4 zones. You score a zero if your ball goes into the wrong target hole. Also, if you are aiming for the furthest end of the range, you can somehow score points (a lot of them), if you hit a certain area on the back fence. We never did quite figure out exactly where you had to hit the back fence, because it didn't give us points every time we hit it. Worth asking someone who works there... We were there as the sun set and the holes light up once it's dark...looks really cool! Two sets of golf clubs are staged on each "lane", one men's and another women's. We used them and they were just fine, although I'd bring my own clubs next time.My brother arranged for a buffet meal for our group of 14 people, which included chafing dishes of tater tots (yum), mini hot dogs (ok) and mini angus burgers (outstanding) and 3 kinds of wings (didn't try myself, but others really liked them). The rolls and fixings were provided, along with carrots and celery and several tasty dips. Very nice spread. We had a server who took our drink orders and made sure all was well with the buffet.Really was a fabulous time for all three generations!
