Want to take the kids to see something different? Try Wills park on any Saturday or Sunday when they are having a equestrian show. at lease twice a month. The horses are beautiful and the riders are all skill levels and ages from the very young beginners to the adults. All the people are friendly and you are up close to all of the horses. Take a little extra time and walk the barns in the back were all the horses are. Believe me a great experience for the kids and it is free. But watch out you might just be a competitor in the future after being there.

Lots of activities going on- dog park, walkers and runners, kids on swings, outdoor swimming pool, classes, community garden, classes. Well kept facilities.

Local horse park serves the many horse farms in the area. Provides a much needed resource to riders for local horse shows.

I was there for a horse show, where the accommodations for competing were very good. I saw many people jogging/walking on the paved walking trail w/ & w/out their dogs. Very pretty & versatile park.

We love coming to this park with our family. There are always lots of activities going on, but always room at any of the playgrounds for little ones to let off some steam! Walking the perimeter is a good workout and just the right distance. Great to see open space so well used and enjoyed.

great, clean, organized, landscaped, bbq are, and... you can rent a horse to ride, or bring yours. Also, there is a swimming pool, tennis field, soccer field

I used to take my dog here every day to walk, although for the distances that we like to walk (4-5 miles a day), the trail distance is a little short. However, I did bring my two nephews to the playground, and they had a nice time (would have been even better had it not been 90+ degrees). The playground has plenty of equipment to play and climb on. There's also a public pool (I think it's $3 per person) but we didn't use it. It had plenty of pavilion space for picnics, and there is a designated dog park for dogs to go off leash.

My 4 year son loves this park. There is an area for smaller children that I found useful in previous years when I was nervous to have him play with the bigger kids. The "castle" in the large area is awesome. There are so many activities, slides, musical instruments, swings, obstacle courses etc. And with a short walk through the park is another play park. 2 parks for 1!Very close clean bathrooms and water fountains available and even pavilions. Always nice and cool and not to far from a creek. Softball, soccer and frisbee throughout.

We took our kids to this park after checking into our hotel. They had such a good time playing on the play ground. There is so much for both the smaller and older children to do. Will definitely stop here again next time we are in the Alpharetta area.

This is an outstanding park with lots going on- frisbee golf, horse shows, tennis, baseball, an incredible playground for kids, a dog park with two fenced-in areas, and a terrific path around all of it. We visit weekly and there is ample parking. Easy trails that are paved. Great spot in Alpharetta.

This is a beautiful park located within Alpharetta right off Old Milton parkway on exit 12 of hwy 400 about 30 minutes north of Atlanta. I regular this spot after work to play frisbee golf with buddies. One of my favorite courses around. Lots of trees to make some really cool shots. It's a beautiful wooded course and not a whole lot of traffic. Tip: to park to play frisbee golf, pull into the entrance on old Milton right before the swimming pools and park near the woods. The course starts through a trail in the woods. There are signs posted showing direction to next hole.

Very nice big park. It was pouring down rain when we got there but we explored the park in our car and was very impressed. They have a pool, play area for the kids, several different kinds of baseball fields, plenty of picnic areas and an equestrian area.

A lovely park with all kinds of activiites. Very clean and well looked after. Dog park, outdoor pool which looked superb, play areas for kids, baseball, tennis etc... Awesome!
