So this wasn’t really what I expected, but we really enjoyed it! This place is near me and we were in the market for a fireplace mantel which isn’t very easy to find apparently. We came here on a Saturday and found it was much bigger than we expected and is more of an experience as you have a massive warehouse to walk through that is cordoned off into cubes. So it isn’t real helpful when you are looking for 1 specific item as you have a lot of walking and searching to do, but you do come across things you’ve never seen before and some things you cant pass up on either. The place is full of eclectic antiques you have to see to believe. TIP: The best part is that they will also purchase your antiques! I spoke with a very kind lady there and she said to take a picture of it and e-mail it to them with the price we were looking to get. I did so and one of their buyers wanted it so I just drove it over and got paid cash on the spot! I will think of them in the future when I have a good item to source. Very fun for an hour on the weekend.
This is a rambling, eclectic mix of things you never knew you needed but immediately fall in love with. There is new merchandise, artist crafts and one-of-a-kind items, and lots of old-timey collector whatnots. Be sure to give yourself enough time to wander the booths (private sellers) and the main display rooms (merchandise sold by Kudzu) since a trip is as much about entertainment as it is about shopping. In addition to all the funky used items in the store, they have a small collection of new furniture including special orders by Rowe Furniture (pick your style and fabric). Definitely worth a visit on one of those days when you are moving slowly and shopping for a surprise.
If you can go there on a Friday evening when the foodie trucks are there it will even be more fun ---A gift/antique store that often has food, live music and all around great people working and shopping there!
This place has been featured in a few different magazines over the past year or so. It has become very popular place to shop. There are some great finds (like other antique shops) and then other things are little over priced. Depends on what you are looking for and willing to pay. Enjoyed walking around and looking at the different aisles.
Largely a mix of overpriced antiques and secondhand junk - hard to find a good find. There are excellent pieces, but many of these can be found elsewhere for less. Layout is good, though the clutter can be bothersome on busy days.
Kudzu is such a fun place to walk inside! I bought something that says Moms cafe for our kitchen and it looks awesome! They also have decorations, fruniture and moreEnjoy kudzu!
