the classic cue

I've been to this place many times, as it's a wonderful place to hang out. Food and drink is reasonably priced and owner/operator commonly does beer specials. The spinach artichoke dip is awesome! Pool leagues are great, and everyone in there is very friendly. They're always quite hospitable and quick on problem resolution (had very few problems, nothing anything major). Owner/operator and many others in the pool hall are happy to help with advice on pool if needed. They have a jukebox with just about every possible song you could imagine. Pool tables and cues are also in great condition. It's pretty obvious that they consider this more than just a business or a job, as they treat everyone like family.

I recently enjoyed an evening of fun and pool with a friend. The cost was reasonable - much cheaper than the north side! The atmosphere was upbeat. This is not a dark pool hall hole but a fun and energetic place to talk and laugh. Great place for all!

I love a good game of pool, so I'm glad to have this place so close to home! The food and drink is all pretty decent and decently priced, and it's not too expensive for a fun night out. Only complaint would be that you cannot go there without coming home with your hair and clothes absolutely permeated with cigarette smell! If you can get past the smell, it's a good way to spend an evening.
