This place is fine. It has all the major stores you need - sporting goods, crafts, home goods, discount, big box stores, grocery and a movie theater. Because one person gets robbed, "it ain't what it used to be." That's code for "I saw black person." It's perfectly safe, clean and centrally located. I never hesitate to go shopping there. If everyone keeps bad mouthing a community shopping center, it is going to shut down. Then what will our community look like with a square mile of abandoned filth?
This was once a wonderful place to shop. It's going down hill and fast. The one thriving pavilion has seen better days. You still have your standard anchor stores but there are also many that are gone. Safety is also a concern now. Hope things improve. I really love this place.
Visit weekly for PetSmart, Wal-Mart, HH Gregg and Kohls - lots of other good stores, including Publix. Just remember it being a great destination a few years back. Before the Pavillion, we used to go to Shannon Mall....the Pavillion has brought a lot of great shopping n one convenient location. I don't take a purse - just take my ID and a credit card or wear a fanny pack.
Ok for a quick run through if you can't get to Lenox or Perimeter! Stores not stocked as well as they use to be!
Sure hate to see how downhill this mall has gotten. There are so many great options and places, but it is getting sketchier and sketchier, crime is more prevalent, and it is so crowded. Not the nice place it was 10 years ago. Hoping they bring in cops or something to bring the Fayette County nice area feel back!
Like I said stay away. Every store has overpriced items. Never any real sales. Also crime rate is going up despite police presence.
Ten years ago, this pavilion was a great place to shop. Unfortunately, crime has become somewhat of an issue in some areas of this location. There are still many good stores in the pavilion, but other stores (e.g. Best Buy) have left for greener pastures. I still visit the pavilion because of convenience, but it is interesting to see the difference in the stock of some stores here vs. there sister stores in Peachtree City and Newnan. Personally, I'll use Wal-Mart at any time of day, but I know others in the area who will only go to the pavilion during the daylight hours. Locations change with time, and the Fayette Pavilion may end up struggling like Banks Station and other Fayetteville locations if a concerted effort is not maintained to keep this area safe and updated.
Great place to shop. There are tons of stores like Walmart, Target, Kohls, Home Depot, and Publix. Definitely I would shop at anytime.
