Great facility and a very friendly staff make Cool Ray Field a fun visit every summer. It is far more intimate than Turner Field downtown, and attendees truly feel being part of the action. Food and beverage is reasonable using "ballpark" standards, but it's certainly not a cheap date for those counting coins.
CoolRay Field is a first class venue for minor league baseball. Family friendly with reasonable ticket prices, and Friday fireworks make this an easy-going destination.
If you love baseball this one is a great one for you! The price is good, the talent is excellent and the view of the field is great from all angles.
CoolRay Field is so much fun for the entire family. Ticket prices are reasonable and the facilities are clean and attractive. There is something for everyone. They have lots of fun things for children to do. Good family fun!
I have been going to ballparks big and small all over the USA for 65 years and can say that CoolRay Field is a great reasonable prices alternative to Turner Field to take children of all ages to see amd learn baseball as well as experience stadium level food pricing. The food is the typical stuff and the reasonable entrance fee lets you afford the food.. All the seats are a good view/ Parking fee is fair and getting in and out is quick, so no reason to not try once, I did and have been back a few times and will go again. The field itself is equall to any minor league field in the USA but the view is not match for the minor league Brooklyn team field in Coney Island with the virw of the Ocean and the Parachute Jump that did not exist when I grew up, but now is a must visit when going to NYC.
Not a bad seat! Very inexpensive for a family outing! Safe area after game. And you get to see any Atlanta Braves who might be on a injury rehab assignment! This team gives a great effort all the time!
Very nice baseball venue. Parking very convenient. Prices are moderate, especially following a game at Turner Field the night before. Although the crowd was VERY small, the lines at the concession stands were pathetically slow. There were two people in front of me and after waiting for 10 minutes, I gave up. Overall, a very pleasant evening.
Beautiful new stadium. Parking is easy and quick to the entrance. Staff is friendly and helpful. Good prices on food and merchandise. Great seating- not a bad seat. Had hills in the outfield for children to play on. Chopper was fun and kept the crowd involved. Between inning games were fun. Enjoyable for anyone!
The Field is beautiful, seats are cheap and all have a great view. The service was slow and lines were long for food, but it was the 6th largest crowd ever this 4th of July! The fireworks after the game were amazing! I might be a Mets fans, but the G-Braves had me cheering for them that night!
Tis is a large AAA level baseball stadium with decent prices for admission and reasonable $5 parking. There are a great variety of foods available from dogs, to wings, to deli sandwiches. It has a kids zone and an indoor wait staffed restaurant that has A/c but no view of the field. Here is the problem. I have been to 77 major and minor league stadiums and I imagine on a typical night everything is great as they don't draw a big crowd. But on fourth of July they were sold out and every single concession stand had lines that were anywhere from 20 to 40 minutes long. There was no other way to even get a bottle of water, hot dog or beer. The only concessions being sold in the stands by walking vendors were cotton candy. Luckily, you can see the game from many of the long lines, but who wants to wait that long for anything? They really need to have the catering company review it's staffing for such sell out events, have workers on rotation and be able to call everyone in for such events. The ballpark is nice, the operation of it was horrible.
Visited with family in GA and caught a baseball game while in town. Good seats, not expensive and an overall great day. Outfield section had activities for the kids (bounce houses).
We attended 4 games at this stadium, and found, as always, that the stadium is a fan-friendly one, the staff is great, and the amenities are plentiful. They have a diverse food selection, plenty of restrooms, and good parking for $5!
I love coming to games here with my friends. Like others have mentioned, it's easy to get to and the parking is cheap $5.The tailgating area is nice -- you park on a grassy area and can even pay $5 more for a second parking spot so you can set up shop -- your grill, chairs, tent, etc.Infield seats are about $16 and you are only a few rows from home plate. It's great to see up-and-coming players plus players you may have seen playing MLB games on TV.
Coolray Field is a great place to watch baseball. It's SO much easier to get to than downtown Atlanta, and you see a lot of major leaguers on rehab assignments or before they move up. They have a lot of silly and fun entertainment between innings typical of the minor league experience. The food and beverages could be better in quality and price. No outside food or beverages permitted. But the staff inside the venue are very polite and helpful.
I am a HUGE baseball fan, mainly the Atlanta Braves organization. Watching the Gwinnett Braves play at CoolRay field is a wonderful trip! The stadium is very easy to get to, parking is always convenient, and the prices of food and souvenirs is in line with other stadiums. The players play hard because they are still trying to get to the big league. Not a bad seat in the house!!
