amc theaters colonial 18

It's been some time since my wife and I have been in this theater and it was completely transformed. We almost left because at time of buying the movie tickets the customer service rep in the window wanted us to choose a seat... a seat I said, how do I know were I want to sit until I get into the theater and see how it's configured. I got upset with the person... they said if I didn't pick a seat, they'd pick one for me... just made me more mad and I was ready to leave, but we really wanted to see this movie and it was only in this theater showing a couple times and then gone to a dollar theater near you. So, we took C5 & C6 and it was probably the best seat in this theater showing room. The seats recline just like home, very comfortable. Probably not washed down very well by the staff as I noticed many of them were pushing the 'ole broom and basket around for the spilt popcorn and not really getting the popcorn... you know what I'm saying!They do have alcohol and I guess this is the way of the theater chains now to get dad to come out with mom and the kids. We live 30 miles north of here and our theaters only offer free refill on large popcorn and drinks.Have a good time, I did.

I am writing another review for this establishment because, month after month, they continue to provide great service, clean floors, and restrooms. As a female I so greatly appreciate clean restrooms and floors. I always take my shoes off when I visit here. Again, my husband and I love the new seating and the bar that serves cocktails. Keep up the great work!

To confirm everyone else's comments, very new theatre with reserved seating in giant, fluffy push-button electric recliners. Just be aware that you have to get there early because the recliners take up a lot of space, so there aren't as many seats in each theatre. My movie was fine, but many of the movies were sold out.Aside from that, sit back and enjoy. The only thing missing was waiter service. Everything else was a very new, unique and good experience.

AMC Colonial 18 is my favorite theater, especially now that that they have reclining seats. It is a pleasurable treat to see a movie there.

Loved being able to reserve a seat and having the nice recliners! Sound and video are superb. As expected, the food is pricey but who eats at a theater anyway?

Absolutely the best movie theater we have ever been to. Love the ability to buy tickets ahead and reserve seats using our AMC club card. Service is outstanding; employees are so amazingly helpful and pleasant. Facility is very well maintained and clean. AMC, please keep-up the great job!

A nice theater with great movies, great screens, with great sound quality. A good place to relax and watch the latest movies in town.

I live about 20 minutes from here but for me, it's worth the drive. First of all, it's the first theater I have seen that gives you assigned seating. Then, there's the comfort of the seats. Everyone has their own armrest and cup holder but you can lift the middle arm if you feel like getting closer to your date. Finally, they have a bar. A fully stocked bar where you can enjoy an adult beverage before, during or after your movie. It really elevates a date night at the movies. I can't wait to go back!

Wife and i have been going to see movies here since our move to Suwanee in 2005. It is a great place to view movies as the seating and service are first class. We also find the popcorn to be fresh and tasty and the large size refill deal can't be beat.A few years ago we became AMC Stubs members which provides a way to get a $10.00 savings for every $100.00 bucks spent. AMC Sugarloaf Mills rocks!

They have been newly renovated. They have a bar, although I'm not a drinker, new electric recliners, and more room than any other theater I've ever been too...LOVE THIS Place!!

Not the closest Cine to my house but worth the 30 minutes drive as pricing to get in and once in are reasonable and has a nice senior discount for early shows plus stadium seating and gteat sould plus nearby selection of restaurants incliding the Old Time Tavern just a few steps away.

Great seating and the bar is a great addition. Drinks are pricey though. Don't particularly care for drinking out of a plastic cup either. Did I mention that the seats are great! Food is majorly expensive. I usually eat before going. Mostly, because the food is sub-par.

This has become our movie theater now. The whole place was redone with reclining seats. Snacks are popcorn,candy, drinks, there is pizza, chicken tenders, fries, nachos also. You reserve your seat ahead of time either online or at the window at theater. No need to rush and get there because your seat is picked out already. The best part is that they have a bar and you can get a drink and watch a movie.

this place is one of the best for movies, the prices are around 10 dollars per person but it has great screens and a good list of movies, and even leather recliner seats, well worth the money.

The better non-dining movie theaters in the area. Warm popcorn and snacks. We like this theater because it's not attached to a mall aneasy to get into.
