If you need a spot to give your dog a break from traveling, this dog park fills the bill. There is no fee and it is easily accessible from I 75. Rated 4 1/2 stars on bringfido.com for good reason. Aside from the poop people neglected to pick up, this park has a lot going for it. Large and completely fenced with a bridge crossing over a shallow creek it is divided into small and large dog sections. Agility equipment, benches, shade trees and rolling terrain make it fun to walk. It is near Mercer College and depending how you get there, a somewhat sketchy area but the park itself is in a revitalized neighborhood.
