A very very nice place to go around Christmas. They are selling Christmas trees and homemade jam, one was very spicy and tasted like heaven :) They have activities for your kids, where they can go and be around their animals, like horses and goats, having a fun day . It's all worth a visit I may say!

In kindergarten, we study plants and animals. Studying about the farm brings both of those life sciences into play, so we were began looking for a farm that would be worth our while to visit on a field trip. A great friend of mind recommended Southern Belle Farm. We were able to reserve a spot and went there today. Oh my!! We were disappointed with this place! It was a great place to go for our students and very educational with plenty of engaging activities to keep them all happy! My favorite thing to do there was riding on the Tractor Tour to the pumpkin patch. They called it a hayride, but we didn't sit in hay. We sat on benches that were anchored on a nice wagon type thing....that's just the best way I can describe it! They have many types of fruit crops that the students can see as we ride like, peaches, strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, and a huge pumpkin patch!! When we got off the hayride, there was a lady waiting for us to give us a demonstration on how the pumpkins grow (everywhere we stopped on the farm had people with demonstrations). The kids really seemed interested and she spoke just long enough to keep their attention. Then, they were able to "pick" a miniature pumpkin to take home. They supplied us with a big bag to carry them in and pens to write the kids' names in case we didn't have any.Anyway, everyone at the farm was very nice and informative. The different activities were: the hayride, the pumpkin patch, the animal barn, the milking barn (the farmer talked to them about Belle the mascot cow and they got to watch him milk her manually and with a machine. Even though they didn't get to milk her themselves, they sat on benches that were built like stadium seating. Therefore, all of the students were able to see. ), the chicken show (a little cheesy puppet show), corn maze, pig races, and a jumping pool. The farm provided nice long picnic tables where we were able to sit and eat our lunch. Then, we were given a small cup of ice cream for each student and adult. The entire farm was extremely clean and well kept. There were lots of employees and I felt that because of the employees the farm functioned in a very organized and timely fashion. Because it took a good 45 minutes for us to drive back, we were not able to do 1 of the activities and the man in charge was so concerned that we were not able to do everything, but it was perfectly fine. I just wanted to keep reassuring him that it was great even if we didn't get to do everything. The kids had plenty to do and they were tired once we got back on the bus. When we ate lunch, I noticed that there were a lot of people all around us. However, because of the way they had everything organized, I didn't even realize it while we doing everything there. This will be a trip we will take again for next year! Also, I'm planning on taking my granddaughters. One last thing....there was a little country store and a concession area that looked nice. There also seemed like there were plenty of restroom facilities (aka portapotties)If you want a fun October attraction to go to without all of the Halloween Hoopla, then try out Southern Belle Farm. The price for the farm is extremely reasonable.

I went with a friend and her young son. I didn't know what to expect and was pleasantly surprised. Our first impression came from the very observant toddler in the back seat..."moo!" I hadn't seen the calf in an enclosed area near where we initially parked--the main entrance to the farm. We were directed to another area nearer the strawberry fields. On arriving we were greeted by a very pleasant gentleman and given our buckets. He suggested where we might start picking and assured us there were plenty of strawberries and there were. They were beautiful. The toddler enjoyed picking, playing and tasting and we quickly filled our buckets. The setting was lovely and there was plenty of room for the pickers to spread out. After paying, we proceeded to the main "barn" where there was a snack bar. We enjoyed cups of homemade strawberry ice cream for lunch!

This is a great local place to go for family activities duirng different seasons in the year. Corn maze, pumpkins, honey, cows, rabbits, pig races. Good way to experience some nature while having fun with your family of all ages.

We had a fantastic visit to this venue. The pig races were so cute. They have animals, pumpkin patch, peddle tractors, tether ball, barrel train, corn canon and a corn maze. We spent several hours and were there until closing. We had a 2, 4, 8, 10 and 13 year olds with us and all liked it. No one wanted to leave. Also a pretty good snack bar as well. It was pretty easy to find and even though busy it is so big it didn't feel over crowded. Would definitely go back and would recommend it to any fun loving families.

We had planned on going to a different corn maze when I just happened to pass a sign that said Southern Belle Farm so I googled it and it was so pretty (and less expensive than the other) that our whole family went. $12 for an adult pays for everything there is to do. All you have to spend extra on is the food, which was excellent. I loved the fried pickles and my daughter loved the fried oreos. My sister said it was one of the best burgers she ever had. There is so much to do that we spent 5 hours there and still missed a couple things. All the employees are very friendly. There are horses to pet, lots of animals, pig races, a giant jumping pillow, three mazes and much more. It was a great day.

This was our second year visiting. All the staff members are friendly and helpful. Love all the activities. We arrived at 10:30 and stayed until 5:00, and never repeated an activity. Love the corn maze!! Food is great, we enjoyed lunch and snacks in between!! :) My favorite is definitely the corn cannon!!! We will definitely be back next year!!

This is a great place for children and adults to pick berries! I went with my babysitter and my brother and we loved it!!! We picked strawberries and saw the animals and it was great. They had nice ripe strawberries for us to pick. We went in march so the blackberries where no ripe co next time I will be happy to pick them too!

To be fair, you do get a full day of fun for the price of admission but make sure you'll take advantage of everything b/c the price isn't exactly cheap.I haven't found the staff to be super friendly but they are helpful if you need them. The farm is clean and well cared for. The pig races are exciting for little kids and big kids alike. Pound cake is delicious and the strawberries lasted a long time. Picking berries is extra.Autumn is a fun time at this farm but spring has its benefits as well.

This was our 2nd trip - and we enjoyed it as much as the 1st! There is no way you could ever be bored here...from animals to feed to giant bounce pad, a corn crib and pig races, it's a great way to spend a couple hours. Not to mention the corn maze, corn shooter, cow ride...the list goes on and on. We cannot wait to visit at Christmas!Fun, fun, fun!!!

We took a group of young families with small children to this farm!! All the kids had a great time! There are 3 corn mazes of varying difficulty, a small train for the kids, a corn cob blaster, small hut full of corn kernels (like sand box), a duck race that works by pumping the water and various animals (climbing goats, cows, horses) and a hayride.

I have been the last two years to pick fresh fruit and have always been satisfied with the quality and the prices. Their strawberries are usually hand-sized and their blackberries are thornless and sweet. I usually pick 10-20 gallons of each. However, they have fruit already picked if you don't feel like doing that. I enjoy the picking and talking to others doing the same. The staff is very friendly and prices are good. They are working on the raspberries which I am looking forward to so I won't have to go elsewhere for them. They have all kinds of things to do year round and school tours are abundant.

My favorite time to go is in the spring when strawberrys are in season. But my ultimate favorite is HALLOWEEN!! They have hay rides, pumpkin chunkin, corn maze and much more. Well worth time time and money :)

Picked fresh myself, they were so good I ate them dirty on the way home!
