We were not sure what farm in the surrounding area of Savannah/Pooler to visit to get pumpkins. (Pumpkin Patch) The distance was our only worry but we had the whole day. It was way worth the trip and our kids had so much fun. The cost was perfect for all my kids got to do. My son was free because he was still young (3). My daughter who was 5 did everything she wanted too. From the petting animal area to all the activities they had a blast. It was an amazing experience. The negative comment below is a small part of our day there. Hopefully it will assist in making the experience better for everyone. My only negative comment was the trip over to the pumpkin patch where they do give you free smaller size pumpkins. The teenagers who seemed to think they were incharge were terrible. They line system need to be severly, it should be a line that everyone enters the same place and that's it. These teenagers had some people waiting for over an hour. Fix the line issue and there would be nothing to complain about. The reason I bring it up is to hopefully fix the problem. And it really needs someone over the age of 17 to ensure the everything is far.
My Family and I did a little research on pumpkin patches, and between a few outstanding ones, we decided to give this one a try. I didn't give this farm a 5 star because although it is nice, they do have some areas that can be worked on.The farm is not extremely huge, but they do have a well maintained spread of activities for kids (which the kids had a great time on). They do have a few attractions to see some live animals (And this area is also well kept). This was nice to see. They do have a quick hayride to where they keep the pumpkin patch (This part of the tour was VERY Quick. They can probably work on extending this a little and putting more into the hayride), but they shrt ride they have, is fun. We had also bought some quick food there on site. The food was pretty generic. I wasn't impressed with the food they have, the taste of the food was pretty bland (and I know not to expect pub style burgers and the such, but the burgers can use some spice and the fries weren't really good either) but the people that worked in the kitchen were VERY nice. The picnic area is nice and it seemed like it is kept clean. Now as far as the corn maze went, they have a great idea for a great one, but do to some rainy weather, the owner explained to us that the corn stalks where not what they should be. They were tall enough for a child, but not for an adult. So unfortunately we did not get to really enjoy the corn maze. Overall we did have a nice family day at these farms. Would I go back? Probably yes because the kids did really enjoy the activities they have. But I will say, I will be trying some other ones first.
