The Dream Givers Gallery in Toccoa is a wonderful shop full of beautiful one-of-a-kind items that you don't usually find at the usual craft shops or fairs. I love to take guests there when we go on a tour of downtown Toccoa. However, the last four times I have tried to take guests, the gallery was closed. One of the closures was my fault because I forgot it was Wednesday. For the next two closures, we found a sign on the door indicating that "something" had come up and the gallery was closed for the day. I got smart for my most recent visit and called ahead of time to be sure they would be open. I got a tape giving the days and hours the gallery was open so I thought they were busy and could not get to the phone--good to go!!!! When we got there, there was a sign on the door again that said "closed" for three days. This is a wonderful shop and well worth the time it takes to visit, but I would suggest that you not only call ahead, but be sure you talk to an actual person so you know they will be open before you waste the trip!
