施洗者圣约翰大教堂

这是欧洲大教堂的缩小版。彩绘玻璃窗美得令人窒息,耶稣受难像可谓精雕细琢。堪称建筑中的精品。

如果你有信仰的话,进入这座大教堂你会感觉到一种宁静与平和。教堂的大门随时向参观者敞开,不过就没有任何服务可言了。

我喜欢建筑,这座教堂的形状是我见到过的最吸引人的了。它对外开放,游客可以拍照和祷告。在规定的时间里游客还可以参加礼拜,当然在这些时间段是不对外开放的。里面很壮观,有着染色玻璃,雕塑,还有同样让人印象深刻的建筑。建议游客来这里,真的不要错过了。

这是一个很漂亮的天主教堂,就像欧洲的那样。参加完马萨,我和妹妹花了25分钟的时间浏览这里的建筑和贴花的玻璃。

我们到那里时,他们正在检查尖塔,所以我们只好回来。教堂附近有些人问我们要钱。萨凡纳Pan Handling laws 法,如果他们骚扰你,你可以拨打911。几个小时后,我们回来就可以进去了。非常非常非常好。如果可能的话,你一定要去看看!

Not only is this a wonderful Cathedral to worship in (we were fortunate enough to attend a noonday Mass) it is a magnificent archetectual masterpiece as well as a living homage to the extrodinary artists and craftsmen whose works adorn the interior and exemplify their apparent love of their Creator.

Stunning stained glass, majestic columns, and a real sense of history make this a must-see in Savannah! At Christmas, the manger scene is not to be missed. Absolutely meticulous!

When in Savannah, be sure to stop by and spend a little time here. It is so pretty. Only takes a few minutes of your time.

The Cathedral is absolutely stunning. The architecture, stained glass, statuary, and artwork are absolutely awe inspiring. Pictures are permitted but cannot due its beauty justice. You must see it in person!

Very beautiful! The detail is something you do not see anymore. The thought of how long it must have taken to get this much detail is unreal. For sure a look.

Take time to examine the stations of the cross statues tucked into crèches along the walls. Beautifully done!

What a lovely cathedral. Wonderful stained glass and mosaics. Towers gave been refurbished recently. It is an active house of worship so you need to check the schedule.

I first visited this cathedral about 16 years ago, just prior to its major renovation. It was beautiful then, and it is gorgeous now. The stained glass is magnificent, as is the architecture of the church. I am not Catholic, but I can sure appreciate this structure and worship God in it.

Beautiful! Lovely Mass and easy walk from our rental house. Lots of Masses on the schedule to choose.
