Stopped for weekday late lunch and the restaurant was empty except for a couple people sitting at the bar. Ordinarily I would consider this a bad omen. But I would have been mistaken. Service was very prompt and friendly. Our table all ordered various burgers and they were delicious, cooked to order with plentiful toppings. We'll be back and hope others will find this delightful spot that seems to be overlooked. Window wall with terrific eastern views of the course and mountains.

This restaurant just re-opened and it has possibilities. The menu is heavy on burgers - which is a good match for Green Valley, but there's only one entrée salad on the menu- a taco salad. The salad was good, but for "ladies who lunch", they really need a few more entrée salads on the menu. The server could use some training. We had to ask for bread and she never returned to ask if we wanted more drinks, more bread, etc. We had a 45 minute wait for our meal even though the restaurant wasn't busy. Work on the menu and service and we'll try again.

Loved the golf course and facility! We stayed for the Friday fish fry! It was good. We sat out on the deck and took in the beautiful view!

Have a special corned beef sandwich from St Paddy's day before. It was absolutely delicious! The new onion crisps were a good add to the menu however, our first batch, were cold and greasy and tough. They were replaced expeditiously, though. Don't think they keep the oil hot enough. Really dislike the "new" menu. There are too many really good Mexican/southwestern in GV to add another one with nothing special about it.

The hamburgers for lunch are the best in town. The dinner menu is reasonably priced with several really tasty items...especially the beef stroganoff.

The coyote grill at San Ignacio Golf Club offers meals in a newly decorated bar and grill. The menu now offers more "homesyle" entries. Portions are more than adequate and very tasty! Try it, you'll like it!

In fact it really looks like it has gone to earth already. Really a shame that the various recent owners have allowed a once iconic Southern Arizona course to completely fall apart. Basically nothing left of it but brown dirt fairways and greens more like the fairways than a real green. Avoid the place at all costs.

This property has two courses - a North course and a South course. The new North course was the old Canoa Hills course. I played the North course today. The course is an average course for $35.00 - 50.00. There are a number of old water chances that are now empty and they make for a number of eye sores. The course itself is ok but the are some tricks that if know will make your score lower. There are some great mountain views. I will likely play it again.

Despite the rumors, we decided to try San Ignacio. They have renamed the courses North and South. We played the North (old Canoa Hill) and were very surprised how new owners have brought this course back! They renumbered the holes and only use the San Ignacio pro shop. The greens were fast and pretty smooth. The best change was the staff. Very friendly and took the time to explain how to get to and from the new 1st tee.

Two golf courses, and an amazing restaurant. I loved the driving range with the cooks grilling outdoors on a sunny day. I can't wait to get back to Green Valley.

This review is for the South Course. When making our tee time, the young man in the pro shop said the course was in great shape. It was our first (and will be our only) visit to the course. I would hate to see what it would be like in poor shape. The greens were what I would call average. There were a lot of dry areas with no grass to speak of. The course was just not that good. There are a number of silly holes that are blind narrow and dog legged and very easy to role through if you hit with any length. It would help if you played more than once to become familiar with the course or you can buy their course description for $5.00. The traps hadn't been raked for a while and were extremely firm and damp. Some had water in them and it had been dry.Really nothing to write home about.

We have been golfing here for years. I love the course with all the ups and downs. They had some water issues and it was closed over the summer. The new company has merged SI with Canoa Hills. So now you go to San Ignacio (SI) to check in and play the "north course" (old canoa hills). So you drive the cart down the road to get there. They start you at the old hole 7. Both courses are really fun to play and they were in great condition but it's strange to not have the clubhouse down the street!

.there has been an ownership change. New owners investing and putting money back in the course. Now best shape it has been in in over three years!

Nice, casual restaurant with lovely views of the mountains. The usual country club fare at a reasonable price.

Tight lies & greens a little rough.Greens are over seeded which did not take well.
