It's one if our go to places in Green Valley that never disappoints us in service and value ...we love the veal for dinner.1
We meet frequently as a group. Always have delicious food. We sit on the patio when weather is good, which is often.
We live in Quail Creek so it is easy to get there in our golf cart. Lunches can be inconsistent but the Monday night all you can eat pasta is very popular and reasonably priced. For a more elaborate dinner there are wine tasting dinners once a month. The Sunday brunch is also very popular with restaurants. Most of the restaurants that offer wine tasting dinners are in Tucson and it can be a long drive home after several glasses of wine. If you have to much to drink at Quail Creek you can always call patrol and get a ride home or walk or crawl. There is a bar with a lighter menu and special events for Holidays that are held in the club house. There is Karoke on Saturday nights in the bar and the main restaurant has music on the weekends.
Beautiful place, average service and average meals. Could be a winner but it ain't. Why don't you accept reviews with fewer words. Some times less is more.
Very good restarant overlooking the golf course. The serving staff is esceptionally good with well prepared food at veryresoniable prices
We went for Pasta night and it was delightful as you choose what you wanted and they cooked the pasta dish in front of you, it was all you can eat. A fun lovely place.
Beautiful surroundings on the golf course, a very nicely done restaurant with friendly staff and good food with large portions.
Neither good or bad. My dad lives at this retirement community and the club and dining area are nice. The food is average, nothing gourmet, nothing too terrible. Not a whole lot of choices in green valley for anything for that matter. Personally, staying home and cooking a nice meal far exceeds anything I would be dining on at the country club
Very good food, atmosphere and a beautiful view of the mountains--excellent service. Menu has plenty of options for adults and children. Very friendly staff.
We live in the community and we haven't been to the Grill since last October. The new executive chef has moved to frozen food from fresh and the taste reflects that decision. As Robert Irvine of Restaurant Impossible reiterates often, "don't serve frozen food, no taste". Unfortunately our new executive chef doesn't buy into that. In the previous 3 months before we stopped going there my wife and I didn't have a single meal together because we had to send at least one of our meals back. Apparently the kitchen doesn't prioritize meals that must be redone so often we waited in excess of 30 minutes to get the meal. Frustrating to watch another person eat when you arrive as a couple. The wait staff doesn't seem to have the foggiest idea about serving, often disappearing into the back while guests struggle for refills on water, coffee or tea. And, stopping by to check to see if your meal is ok happens rarely, we generally have to flag someone down to send a meal back. We now drive 15 to 45 miles to find a decent restaurant rather than go to the grill that is within a mile. A shame actually we used to like supporting the grill.
We played the twilight rate, hit balls on a very nice practice range before teeing off, the chipping green is great. Most holes are challenging and make you think. Course management is key. Fun to see quail and coyotes on the course. Course was in great condition and I would love to play there again.
When you are sitting outside on a balmy 80 degree day IN JANUARY, almost anything will taste good. This country club bar/eatery serves all the usual offerings - burgers, fish and chips, salads. The quality and taste were so-so, and the fried items were 'greasy fried.' The experience made everything taste better, as did the variety of beers and a house special margarita.
Been there at least 6 times. Food was always good. Best thing about it is the views and setting. Been there for lunch and dinner. Both are good.
This is a beautiful setting and the food is always very good. Have been dining at the Country Club for several years, enjoying lunch, dinner, and the Sunday buffets. This is a great place to bring out of town guests.
For a subsidized golf course it ranks pretty good. The restaurant is nice and clean. The golf is challenging and always in great shape. Whats not to like here?
