Very glad that we took the time to stop and see this "show". It is more of a history lesson, than a show, but you don't really know that because it was quite entertaining. The cast is very friendly, and will engage you as much or as little as you like. Caution to those who have little ones. It is a bit loud, so if your little ones are scared of loud noises, you may want to avoid this, until they get a little older. The show was less than an hour long, and the A/C was cool. Definitely worth adding to your itinerary if you are in Tombstone.
Only had a short time to visit Tombstone but was able to catch the gunfight. Fun show! will try to stop by again on the next road trip!
Glad we did this but it's a bit hokey and over priced, good for kids and the actors did a great job. There are other gun fights in town but we didn't realize it until later and I don't know if they are any better. You got to see a gunfight in Tombstone.
One of the more inexpensive gunfights in town, only $8 a person. Kids are also free of charge. The gunfight takes place totally indoors, so on hot summer days it is nice. The gun fighters are very interactive and knowledgeable. It is loud and could scare some children.
Fun show for the kids while learning some history. Entertaining and engaging actors. Outdoor seating with shade.
This is a must see because not only do you see how the doc was shot but they tell you how it was in the day and look like they were there when it happened.
Went with family to Tombstone and watched the Doc Holiday Gunfight Show. The place look like a Saloon and the cast was awesome, friendly and great story tellers. There was 3 stories. Kid loved the gun fights. Stories where good & informative...
This show had a Good cast and depicted 3 famous Tombstone Gunfights. The Admission was the Highest of the 3 we went to (OK, Helldarado). And was the 2nd best of the 3 IMO.
The show was well acted and fun to watch. The 3 short stories gave insight into gunfights and daily life around Tombstone. It was 30 min long and worth the $16 I paid for my two kids and me.
It was once quite good, but now seeing sixty year old men play in a historic recreation of fights involving men in their early twenties to early thirties is sort of absurd. The owner, "Doc," is gruff and personality minus, as are his actors, though "Scotty" seems a nice guy and pretty good at his work. Historical enough story, but sort of absurd casting, as if Anthony Hopkins should star this year in a biography of Prince William!
I believe I came face to face with Doc... Gunfight was so real that actually lived that moment....Awesome!!!
I can not wait to go back.Friendly employees a great juke box and cold beer what more could anyone want.
We would have happily paid to see this twice in a row instead of going to the O.K. Corral afterwards. We met Doc on our way into Tombstone and from the start he was very helpful with telling us the best places to park and where all the attractions were. The show itself was really really good. Not only did the reenactments portray the real history (not Hollywood) but the acting from the cast was really professional. If you only have time to see one show, this is the one you should spend your money on. Side note: there is nothing wrong with the actors asking for tips at the end, that's how they make their living. Tipping is optional and they tell you that, I don't know why people complain about that. Quite frankly, the spittoon is a nice touch. :) Keep up the great show guys!
This attraction was not only historical but it was fun! If you watched westerns growing up as I did you will love this. It's based on three actual gunfights based in Tombstone and the commentator and actors did a great job.
The show was interesting but very loud. If you have children under 6-7 years old, I don't recommend the show. My two are five and it was loud to them. Another children was younger and the parents had to leave after paying to see the show.Oh yeah, everywhere in Tombstone costs money to see a "show". We only saw two and dropped over $100 dollars for a family of five. We didn't get a chance to visit the other ones.Plus, no senior discounts for the grandparents.
