The Yuma Country Club has good food and good service. We were members while living in Yuma and really enjoyed going there for dinner and parties. The only down side is they are not open for dinner during the week.
One of the better small market country clubs I've visited. Great club house, good food, nice putting area and well kept course. I don't know if they allow public play as I was a guest of a member.
We are Canadian Snowbirds that are looking forward to our second year as Seasonal Members. The course is very well maintained, the staff is polite, friendly and helpful. We love the food and the various events during the winter are super and great value! We have many new friends in Yuma at this club and look forward to once again spending the winter using this wonderful facility.
We were surprised that we were able to get a seasonal membership as a Snowbird and joined to play and use the facilities for 3 months. The course is long and challenging but well maintained and the staff is very friendly and helpful. It is a little difficult to get tee times if you are not a full regular member but worth the hassle to golf the course. You can bring guests as a member and the dining room is a gem. The hours are limited and check to see that dining is an option. The special dining out nights are fabulous and if you can attend a Prime Rib night...you will be impressed. Delicious. Lunch after golf is a great bargain and very good food...lots of variety. Excellent service from a great staff and some old fashioned good taste that is hard to come by. We really enjoyed our time there.
beautiful course. LIke that you can walk it not too hilly but challenging. The staff is wonderful and extremely friendly. They have seasonal memberships if you are a snowbird.
Great golf, great food. Of course you have to be a member - or at least know somebody who is a member who will take you. They have great fireworks on the 4th for the whole town.
Its sad, this used to be the "in" place for people to go, see and be seen, great bar and restaurant, and where to have weddings, etc. Unfortunately that was the past and the last few years of mismanagement (and a touch of the bad economy) have led to many giving up their memberships. The food quality is very poor, the management is rude to members and staff, and they even admit to not being able to make a profit even on nights when they sell-out on reservations and most items on the menu. It's very sad, it is a place that holds wonderful memories to so many people for many years, but the magic is gone.
This is a private country club restaurant, however, they do reciprocate with other private country clubs around the nation. The food has improved in the previous two years, with a General Manager who has great leadership and offers excellent education to his staff.Lunch can be casual from a burger to a more sophisticated salad. Dinner is excellent, if you can catch them on an a la carte night. Most of the dinners are buffet, as they attempt to please the majority of the members. However, for the food that is offered, you won't find a better deal for an upscale dinner in town.
