Jack is a hoot, and the wine here is really top notch with many varieties, something to fit everyone's taste. The restaurant here is top notch, it really is out favorite place to eat in Southern Illinois.

Cache river is a small winery that is located about 5 miles south of Vienna Il on Rt 45 right across from the Heron Pond entrance. Jack Dunker is the owner and is very knowledgeable about his wines. He has names some of his wines to reflect the region where he is located such as Cottonmouth White, Copperhead Red, and Swamp water. He has over twenty wines to choose from. There is also a restaurant located on the property that is open on the weekends and he has just starting having live music on Saturday nights.
