the yarn studio

While visiting Casey we had to complete the trifecta of world records by seeing the worlds largest wind chime, world's largest golf tee and we finished up with the world's largest knitting needles and crochet hook at The Yarn Studio. The store is warm and inviting, the world record display is nice. I loved the verses engraved on the them and it was fun to see some of the handiwork produced by the big needles. While there we looked around a little bit, even though I don't do any yarn crafting. There were at least 4 or 5 ladies working on various projects at tables set-up throughout the store. Most were kind enough to share with our family what they were working on and answer my boys questions. Everyone was very friendly. I fell in love with a cute handmade yarn bag from Nepal that I bought. As we left I found myself thinking that they should carry more completed handiwork to sell to their non-crafty visitors who stop in to see the world records. Definitely an excellent store for those that love yarn!
