We love going to the movies and AMC makes it a great time. We love the Stubs program. The staff is very helpful with the stubs program and letting us know what we have on the card. The popcorn was fresh and I ate the whole bag. OH!! My!! I didn't share very much and told them to get their own.

A modern theatre in a town of +17,000 people. It's located behind the Illinois Star Centre Mall. For the most part, it's in a relatively safe and semi-quiet neighborhood. There was one incident in January 2013 were young burglars broke into several patron's vehicles. Parking has never been an issue although I tend to avoid rush hours - Friday and weekend evenings. PRO: Clean and friendly environment. Theatre has discounted tickets times. Tickets get checked only at the time of purchase.CON: Limited shows / times, only shows mainstream movies (no foreign or underground / independent), and food is over priced. -2 stars

My husband and I visited the AMC in Marion, Illinois during our recent vacation in Southern Illinois. The theater is a standard AMC theater. There is a little ticket kiosk to the side when you enter which would be nice to use if it was busy. Things seemed cramped even without it being busy by the concession stand. It was a perfectly fine place to watch a movie.

I took my daughter here to see You're Next on the 23. The theater was very clean, we moved threw the line quickly and the employees were very friendly and helpful.

Purchasing tickets is a breeze. Sometimes the lines are long but it's swift moving.The staff is courteous and helpful.

This is a decent theater. For a while it got a bit run down, but AMC has done a good job of restoring it, and installing several digital projectors (which I prefer to scratchy film projectors any day)!Floors are kept clean, reservations through AMC Stubz app on my iPhone is easy (unless their reservation system is down, which it has been a couple of times) and the ticket kiosk is easy to access and get my tickets, bypassing the box office.Overall, it's an average, decent theater.

If you are looking for a movie in Marion this is the place to go! BUT make sure you have purchased tickets in advance or that you are in line early if you are planning to see a mega hit new release. Thie theater is always busy!

If you've been to an AMC theater then this is just like it. Nothing out of the ordinary. It is usually very clean.

These theaters need some updating. That may be why they always look a but unkempt. Often times seats are blocked off because of repair...a musty smell of sorts. However, the workers are wonderful and we go back and back!

Prices were pretty reasonable for matinee tickets. Facility seems a little older, so could use a few minor updates. Bathrooms were well kept. Staff was nice.
