nice mall. Every store you want to shop at is at this mall. It also provided you with a lot of resturants
Relax or just do whatever you like. Theres something for the whole family. A mall Is a Mall! Seen one seen them all
Easy to park in the parking garage (for free!). Eateries everywhere (both fast food and sit-down). Lots of variety of shops for all ages/genders!
Stores for everyone, Wide variety of restaurants, even an indoor play area for small children. Woodfield Mall has everything for the shopper. Including PLENTY of convenient parking. There is also a free shuttle to other Schaumburg points of interest.
I go to this mall frequently, live 10 minutes away from the mall. There's something for everyone. Awide variety of stores, coffee shops, places to relax . Walking the entire mall is a good workout. There's a children area for kids to play.
I have lived in Schaumburg for 40+ years and watched with fasination when Woodfiled Mall was being built for it was one of the first very large, in door shopping malls in the country. Why anyone would consider a "shopping mall, a destination is beyond me. Come on after all it is is a "shopping mall", nothing special -- unless you are a shopaholic. Not being an authority on shopping malls as far as I am concerned it serves it purpose, I live close to it for convenience but far enough to avoid the traffic. I can't say I find it anything special -- IT'S A SHOPPING MALL!
Any visit to the Northwest suburbs of Chicago is not complete without a stop at Woodfield Mall in Schaumburg. It is about a 20 minute drive from O'Hare Airport and about an hour from downtown Chicago. The Mall is HUGE so make sure you are wearing comfortable shoes. There are lockers available that come in handy in the wintertime, for storing packages and coats. Christmas is a magical time at Woodfield, but you will be fighting extra large crowds. Parking can be an issue around the holidays, especially on weekends, so come early. You can easlily spend an entire day at the mall, and there are a variety of restaurants right within the mall, both the sit down and fast food variety. There can be considerable wait times for the fancier sit down restaurants. If you have time, visit the two outside malls on both the south and north of Woodfield. Just a word of caution - this is not a trip you want to make if you are trying to save money!
Woodfield Mall in Schaumburg/IL offers a great variaty of shops and brands under one roof. Having had the chance to be there early morning allows for a relaxed shopping walk to find great offers for great prices. There is a couple of food corners that offer snacks as well as fine dining. Later in the day the Mall fills with all kind of folks and it becomes an interesting place to watch and observe.
Yep, it's a huge mall. Worth stopping and spending a couple hours. Very nice and practically every store you can imagine !
it still has a fye in itI collect used and new dvds and cdsand this store has a good selection of tv on dvds
this center was very close to our hotel at Double tree. we could easily walk to every thing. Some great deals were had by us. Also friendly staff and service. Being visitors to the town we were very grateful for the convenience and location of our hotel to the Center.
Large indoor mall with both designer and regular mall stores anchored by Macys, Nordstroms, Lord and Taylor, Sears, Penneys. Mall is always kept up and re-renovated so looks new and clean. Some good dining options right within the mall besides fast food. I feel perfectly safe shopping there.
Nordstrom? Check. Sears? Check. Everything in between? Check. Apple Store, Chicos, Gap, Banana Republic, Lego Store, Disney Store, Macy's, Coach, Michael Kors...you've got the picture. Cheesecake Factory, my favorite restaurant, is attached to the mall. Check in early as there's always a line. You'll also find a McDonalds, Starbucks, Rainforest Cafe. If you simply cross Golf Rd, a peripheral main artery, you'll find major discount stores: Saks Off 5th, Bloomingdales, and my absolute favorite, Nordstrom Rack. Some might argue that this is the best Chicagoland area Rack. You won't be disappointed.
If you can't find what you're looking for in Woodfield, you won't find it! Stores for every budge, places to eat for every budget and great people watching!
Woodfield has something for everyone. To me their flagship store is Nordstrom. Great selections when it comes to merchandise and very helpful clerks. They have middle range priced items as well as high end. And cosmetic lines galore.Woodfield is very large, but indoors so you can shop in comfort during the worst days of a midwest winter . I usually have a destination such as Nordstrom or Lord and Taylor when I go there, but if you've got the stamina you can shop all day if you want to see everything.I can't comment on the restaurants except to say they usually look crowded. If we have lunch in Woodfield, we eat at Nordstroms or the nearby Maggiano Restaurant.
