willow ridge winery

I have only been here once, but do want to go back. It was a hot air balloon event, has excellent wine and a good atmosphere. As it turned out the baloon's were unable to make it up even though one did try, it was just too windy, we still had an excellent evening and seen many friends. Will be going back.

This is a great winery to check out. First of all trip adviser has it located incorrectly. It is on 1800n in westervelt, which is a very small township northwest of Shelbyville Illinois. The address is label Shelbyville still. Which makes this place great! Its out in the middle of nowhere with its on vinyard which you can wonder through down to the small pond. Now as for the wine, there is something for everyone, from sweet to dry, red and white. Its all made right there onsite. The winemaster Louie and Tina are great and they take pride in what they do. They also host murder mystery dinners, and have live music on weekends. I'm telling you they try hard to please the customer, and you 'll feel like you found something special that no one else knows about. They do have their own web site which tells you dates of entertainment and has their wines listed. I'm ready to go back just making this review, lol!
