Went on tour with 15 other colleagues. Captain George greeted us warmly and gave us a thorough tour of the fire house. He shared several touching stories regarding the fire house and people who have served there that was a great reminder of the sacrifice our public service workers give in the line of duty.George then gave us a ride around town on a modified fire truck. He did a wonderful job with narration and sharing other facts about the city oriented around the Chicago fire and fire service.I highly recommend this as a group team building activity or for the kids who don't have access to this type of public service. George is an amazing guide.

Captain George is the absolute greatest! He and his copilot dalmation, Brady, made the trek to St. Charles from Chicago - was easily worth twice what he charged as he came to the house, picked up a score of 4 y/os for my son's birthday party, gave a great ride through St. Charles (including a stop and tour of the local fire department), and this is one for the photo and memory books ... even the parents learned about fire safety and are smiling still at the great time we spent on his vintage firetruck. Beat every expectation we had ... was gracious, resonated well with kids and adults, Brady is wonderful with kids and this guy is the real deal when it comes to sharing his knowledge as a true CFD veteran. If you are looking for a phenomenal tour guide in the best ride possible for anyone of any age interested in fire trucks, you must call George.

Doc family loved it. Tour is the highlight of any trip to chi town! The truck is authentic and getting to see the dining room and workout room in a real firehouse is priceless!

We took a group on the tour during a Convention. What a riot - we all had the best time! Fun & informative tour with lots of unique perks: both guides were actual firemen, the antique firetruck, and the dalmatian (being trained as a service dog). Can't believe how Captain George could drive and talk at the same time, but he gave a great tour as we went through the busy city streets.

Captain George - ex of the Chicago Fire Dept - drives his 1950's firetruck around Chicago, taking in brilliant views of the city, passing the major sites and a few fire stations too. The latter are the highlight as they all know George, wave and sometimes sound their sirens. Captain George can only sound the siren on his engine on the main road out of town past Soldier Field, which he does to squeals of delight from the kids, and a big grin from the adults too. It's a completely different kind of city tour, and not just because you're riding on top of a fire engine. Captain George is very personable and goes out of his way to make all his guests feel welcome and informed. His passion and knowledge of his city comes through in spades. One of the best things we did in Chicago which, given the competition, is saying something.
