ifly indoor skydiving

If you're like me and are a combo thrill seeker, adventure lover and chicken then this is the perfect form of skydiving. My nephew and I had a great time here and we're both looking forward to coming back. I bought our tickets from Costco for a great price but thought 2 - one minute flights sounds short. The whole adventure lasts about an hour and the flights really do seem longer. We also bought the extra fly to the top of the tunnel add on and were both thrilled!

This will be the closest I'll get to ever jumping out of a plane. I have a horrible fear of heights and would never try actual skydiving, but this seemed like something that I may be able to handle - you are starting from the ground after all and not have to worry about actually hurling your body from a plane thousands of feet above the earth. I was still very nervous. The instructor was great and mentioned that if we wanted to go up high on our 2nd flight we could do that for an extra $10. My husband said 'yes', and I immediately said 'no' but he cautioned me not to decide just yet and that I could still decide after my first flight - just let him know. Well, my first flight was fantastic - yoga training comes in handy here folks, once the instructor gets you into the right position all you have to do is hold the pose and you are flying! It was an incredible experience. There was no issue with heights - just an amazing feeling of floating around (although with a lot of wind coming at you!) On my second flight I decided to go up high and the instructor takes you up two or three times. Let me just say that I left feeling giddy..... seriously, I haven't been giddy since I was 10 years old but I was giddy. It was worth every penny and I'd do it again. I wish I lived closer as I would love to take more advanced training. Great job folks at iFly!

Great place to experience free fall and zero G as you are flying in the huge wind tunnel, great instructors on with be with you every step of this unbelievable fun. You can bring your family as they will be watching you thru the glass wall around the tunnel and taking pics and videos. Really really lots of fun. There is plenty of parking right next to it and restaurants just in case if you get hungry after.

I was given this experience as a gift and was somewhat unimpressed when I saw it was for indoor skydiving. I arrived not expecting much, but after watching a few people and then meeting Cam, our instructor, I became much more interested. We watched a brief video, were taught basic hand gestures, and were then given flight suits, goggles and a helmet. I can't tell you how fun it was! Cam helped us make the most out of our time there and was super encouraging. After we were done, we purchased a return package because it was so amazing!

Worth two hundred dollars! It was very worth my time and very fun! its a good family attraction and very worth it!!!

I have always wanted to fly. Almost killed myself jumping off the garage at age 13. iFLY provides the thrill of flying without the consequences of crash landing in your backyard. Adding to the thrill was being able to share the experience of indoor skydiving with two of my adult daughters. It was something we will talk about for a long time. My other two kids can't wait to share the experience. If you enjoy a rush of adrenaline or two, this is a great way to participate in a unique activity provided by professionals in a safe environment.

I got each of our family a flight package for Christmas and it was wonderful! We had such a good time that we actually booked additional time before we left iFly for the evening. Signing up online was very easy to schedule the flights. We started with a "class" to learn the basic body positions needed and the hand signals necessary for communication since it is so loud in the wind tunnel. The we suited up to get ready for our flights. Thankfully, they even had goggles that work over eyeglasses. We paid extra for the high-flight and it was So worth it. It felt a little like a roller coaster ride - so much fun. Even my son who is afraid of heights loved the experience and is looking forward to doing it again.

From the time I called and spoke to Jason he made the process from check in to the training itself very simple and informative. You have to do the high flying option very very cool. Well done I will return with a crew very soon. !!!!!! Great job Guys and girls.

This was a fantastic experience! For those of you who are scared of heights or have an injury that won't allow them to do the real thing, this is a fantastic alternative. Our instructor was Matt and he was seriously the best! Very informative, and you can tell he takes the job seriously but also has fun. Made me feel more secure going into it. It was pretty great because the instructors do a little showing off of their own and seeing what they can do makes me want to come back and learn all the tricks.

I loved ifly but i liked all the air hitting my face and also I loved Josh the instructor how he had hold's you to make you feel relaxed and safe which allows you to go higher. and I liked those tricks that josh was doing he is going to have to teach me those when I come back! My family, and I came there for my birthday. My daughter, and I went for it... (the wife chickened out). We had a blast, and many thanx to Miguel (made us feel welcomed, and at ease upstairs by the simulator). I would also like to extend my sincerest thanx, to Cam!!! Just do it is all I can say - a great experience that is over too fast. You feel like you are flying.

This was a surprise for my nephew during his visit to Chicago. It was amazing. I felt very safe the entire time. Our instructor Christian, told us exactly what to do and how it would go. I watched him work with scared adults and fearless kids. Everyone had a great time. Pay for the extra high experience. Very worth it!

My wife and I booked this for ourselves and our teenage nieces. We watched others, had the brief classroom experience and then each flew two times at 1 minute and 15 seconds. The nieces wanted the extra spin with the instructor up the shaft, but my wife and I wanted those 30 seconds to continue our own learning experience. Everyone was super professional and it was way cool!

Went with a group to try this indoor skydiving and had a blast! The training was very professional and thorough and the staff was great! Part of our group returned the next day to do it again! We'll worth the money!
