My husband and I just played at this course. There is great potential for this course to be awesome, a very nice layout. The greens were very rough, hard with little grass on them. Very hard to putt. the tee boxes either had long rough grass or no grass on them. The fairways weresandy, with little grass growing on them. It was discouraging golfing here. I will not play here again.

My son lives in Rock Springs Ridge and it is a lovely community! The golf course and club house grill are making a comeback! The 18 hole course is being maintained. The last time I played, I saw a sandhill crane with its baby, a fox and an eagle:) the cost has been running from 22.00 dollars on Monday to 27.00 dollars on the other days. The other 9 holes has been turned Into a frisbee golf course! A new restaurant has taken the place of the grill. It is called Tartinis and is an upscale oven pizza restaurant with a variety of entrees on the menu! Beer, wine and liquor are served. If you stop in after your golf game. Sit on the patio and watch the other golfers approach the 9th green. Come Back and be a part of RSR revival!

This course was one of the best in Central Florida for a long time. It had 27 holes and was really great to play. Time and poor ownership/management haven't been kind to the once great track. One of the nines was closed a few years ago due to lack of funds. The remaining 18 holes are in horrible shape. The greens are just barely useable and the fairways consist of whatever grows plus a bit of overseed this year. Very few people are playing this course so I'm not sure how long it will last with so many good quality courses in the area. It's sad as this was one of my favorite courses.

This course may not be the most difficult, but it is a nice course to have a friendly game and enjoy the scenery and wildlife as you walk or ride between holes. The grounds are pretty well maintained, and while it is not the most challenging course, it is good for a less stressful game of fun while still practicing your swing. It also has a nice putting green, and the golf club has a good little café and golf shop for relaxing after your game.

Worst course I have ever played. The staff is rude, course is in therrible condition. The cashier would not open the pro shop until 6:50 AM despite taking a 7:00 tee time. He also attempted to charge us $10 more than the rate we booke don line. The greens are more fungus than grass. The fairways and tees are more weeds than grass. No drinlk cart and the bartender explained that it was due to budgets issues. They have nine holes of frisbee golf and looks as though they should convert the other 18 holes to the same.

Played this course 3 years ago when it had 27 holes. Now has 18 holes and conditions are improving. Challenging layout for any level of golfer. Greens are in fair condion on front nine and in good condition on back nine. Fairways also improving with backside better. Staff very friendly and accomodating. Enjoyed course so much we actually played 36 holes that day. Nice to see the current staff are bring this course back from near death. in 3-4 months it will be back in the hidden gem category.Definitely will play when I return to the area in October

I have played this course approximately 5 times. The most recent occasion was the prior Saturday morning. They are running a special for $29.95 + tax, which includes 18 holes plus cart, plus a buffett lunch and drink (soda or one draft beer). When I called, they did not mention that green fees plus cart on a Saturday are $24.00, which would have been nice to know. The course is in mediocre shape. The greens are generally in marginal condition, however they are poor on a few holes. The course should be in great shape with a little attention to details. They were not busy, at all. We had a tee time at 7:24, but teed off a few minutes prior. We were the second group on the course. One redeeming quality, if you are learning to play, you will not feel bad if you leave a divot, as the course is not immaculate.Customer service in the clubhouse is acceptable, althought the cashier was running late, so we did not pay until the turn, which is a minor inconvenience. On this day, they had someone working the beverage cart, which was a welcome change from the last time we played (6 weeks prior). Beer runs $3.00 for Coors Light or Michelob Ultra in a 12 oz can. The starter is a nice elderly gentleman, and we chated with him for a few minutes. The buffett lunch was all you can eat, pulled pork, hot dogs, fresh fruit salad, homemade chips, and dessert. The chef and bartender were attentive and accomodating. The food was good.RSR is worth a play, but it is not in the best shape. If you are local, I would give it a try.

We have eaten breakfast there and it was very good. They do offer lunch/dinner specials that are worth checking out. Very friendly staff.

North course is in good shape. Greens are much improved. Totally new staff!

I can put up with the bad fairways but to be treated poorly by the staff is unacceptable. The staff never smiles and are not courteous.

This course use to be a beautiful well-kept facility approximately 3 years ago. Nowadays the Golf Group has shut down the North course causing the facility to go from 27 to 18 holes. I would accept this, if they actually maintained the 18 holes left. The greens are downright poor. It was like putting on concrete with grass missing in many areas. I think the Golf Group is trying to make this course into a profitable course by cutting costs everywhere including greenskeepers who actually give a damn.

I am an Orlando resident and certainly understand that we have been mired by a severe drought the last few months, but I've played several courses during this drought and I would be embarrased if I owned this course. There were full grown weeds everywhere, 50% of the greens were like putting on rocks, and there wasn't much difference between the rough and the fairways. An absolute waste of my money and to cap it all off, there was no gear (I needed balls) in the pro shop because they were supposedly switching providers. I wouldn't pay more than $7 to play this course again.

this is one the better golf facilities in the orlando area - when you look at the low prices it may be the best value in the area. 3 Excellent 9 hole courses, very well maintained and greay greens. Fun and challenging. totally worth the dive to apopka ( about 35 minutes from the disney area)
